Comments: The pickup is glued to the body, it takes the sound directly from the wood. You don't have to change anything on your instrument. The output is weak, and when I turned my amp loud, I had massive Feedback. The pickup has a 3,5mm output jack, and it comes with a thin 3,5 to 6,3mm cable. The shielding is bad, and so I got much hum! I tried it with a normal guitar cable with a 3,5-6,3 Adapter, but the plug then was too heavy, and it slided out of the jack.
As you may imagine, I don't use it anymore. IMHO it is unusable for live performing, it may be usable for recording or in combination with a magnetic pickup, to enrich the sound.
