Sound
:
No Opinion
Perceived output level: About the same as a Dean Markley Pro-mag
Tone: Perfectly balanced for my guitar (maybe dreadnaughts in general)
Sonic evaluation: Sounds great with any amp I've plugged into so far (includes Fender, crate, Peavey Bassman amp). I like to put it through my flanger to my computer so I can do a little recording.
For which styles and positions is this pickup (un)suitable: I find this to be great for just about anything for which you'd want to use it.
Overall Rating
:
10
Comments: I would buy this one again in an instant. It cuts down on the boominess of my D-4 and I really have to crank it to have any problems w/ feedback. The only thing I could wish for, though, is a volume pedal.
