:
Model of guitar or bass: Tama TG-80

Pickup being replaced: None
Other pickups on guitar: None
Artists using this pickup: ??
You musical style(s): Folk, Country, Blues, Rock
Reason for pickup change: Wanted to add a pick-up to this rare guitar. The Pick-up adds so much to the guitar. The tamas were the predecessor to the Ibanez Artwood series in the mid seventies. They were modeled after the Martins of the time and sound every bit as good. You can switch the phase on the pickup also has slide controls for treble bass blend and Mic r pick-up, Volume, Frequency and Notch controls. Easy access to battery
Sound
:
No Opinion
Perceived output level: Very good with Mic and pick-up
Tone: good all around mids lack somewhat but not to bad
Sonic evaluation: Using it on a Tama TG-80 (Yes the Drum Makers) with my buddys carvin acoustic amp through my yamaha AGStomp
For which styles and positions is this pickup (un)suitable: Suits for most of my styles some artists in my styles it doesn't do so well for but who cares
Overall Rating
:
8
Comments: It's a great pick-up but if it were stolen I'd probably go and try to find something better that can match the guitar
