Features
:
The Prestige 330 is a Triple surface Piezo Soundboard Transducer.
It can be purchased active or passive, I chose passive.
Instrument
:
I installed this in a Seagull S-6 Original.
Drilling a 1/2" hole at the strap button was required, and is easy to do.
You'll also need a little super glue gel to secure the transducers to the sound board.
The space was tight on the Seagull, the transducers touched each other. Yet that had no negative impact on sound. There's more room on other guitars.
I did them in this sequence... Treble - Bass - Mid. I recommend Treble, mid, bass or visa versa. To assure there's enough space in the center for the mid.
Sound
:
10
The sound quality is excellent, Crystal clear, NO MUD, NOT MID HEAVY like some others like it. Replicated the acoustic very well.
Much clearer than others costing twice as much
It's is an excellent match for all styles of playing
Jesse (the owner) was on point with tech sppt too.
Overall Rating
:
No Opinion
I would def buy again, and will soon purchase another for a 12 string.
I've been playing acoustic guitars for 30+ years (who really remembers?)
So I have tons of other gear to compare it to .
I don't hate anything about it... I love the price and performance.
I did compare it to the K&K pure western mini and I chose it over the PWM because of the recommendation and the price, I had no idea it would sound this good!
A real bargain at $49.95
