Comments: Outstanding - has really woken this old slab of wood up - instant warm Wes/Charlie sounds. Playing about 10 years, also own an Epiphone Emperor, Les Paul, Strat & a Lowden. Buy another? This price is half that other 'manufacturer's' charge for the same pickup (it's made by Sky in Korea - designed by Kent Armstrong - who's list price is $80)
Downside? doesn't have a lead attached, so cables are visible where they've been soldered on the side of the pickup - if you don't have a pickguard, it'll look a little odd.
I repeat, the sound is incredible - I never dreamed I could get a tone like this without spending ????????????????????'s!
