Tone: pretty balanced
Sonic evaluation: For a passive undersaddle, this pickup sounds great. I would highly reccomend it if you have an existing onboard preamp and want to continue using it. Good sound. Compares very closely to the fishman acoustic matrix, but without a preamp!

Comments: Overall, it's a wonderful pickup. Especially for $79! MUCH better than the baggs LB6 or my stock pickup. Not too quacky. If I had it to do over, I would like to try the double barrel, since my preamp has 2 inputs.
