Features
:
2008 Thin Sensor. Humbucking.
Instrument
:
National steel body Delphi. Always looking for something different. I've tried them all. The adhesive on the pickup is close to a permanent installation as you can get. It may take a layer of wood off removing it or damage the finish. It left a shadow on my antique finish. To do again I wouldnt use the 3M adhesive thats on the pickup. In other words its an absolute son-of-a-bitch to get the pickup off if you decide to remove it later. Maybe just remove a small part of each corner of the paper backing to stick it on.

Output level is fine. Overall ok. Still the unwound strings are louder than the rest. For chording I back off the first two strings. The rest of the strings are very nicely balanced. No it aint natural sounding but still nice.

Highlander still wins the resophonic prize. But unless you are prepared to make a nut then this would be second place.

Features
:
Very thin PAF sized humbucker, with chrome cover. Fastens quickly with adhesive tape.
Instrument
:
Installed in National vintage steel tricone. Output jack was put in the grate type holes in the upper bottom bout. It's not where I'd like it to be but good for now.

I'm happy with the output level. I wouldn't call it hot, but why would I want a hot acoustic pickup anyways.
I run it into a ernie ball volume pedal, a tuner, a baggs para di, and into PA. Also use a condenser mic. This is great for a natural sound, but it also sounds great pluged into a tube amp for a bluesy tone.

I have lots of gear, as I'm a full time pro. 35 years+. Good product and a fair price. I'm real happy.
