Perceived output level: Like all piezo pickups, it needs a preamp. Otherwise fine.
Tone: Suprisingly heavy on the bass. Not bad, but more bass then you'd expect from a piezo pickup.
Sonic evaluation: Liberty Resonator --> LL Baggs GigPro preamp --> Ultrasonic 30W Acoustic Amp
Very natural sound, I had to crank the amp to tell the difference between what I heard from the guitar and from the amp. Just what I wanted, the sound of my guitar only louder.

Comments: Very happy. If it were lost that would mean the guitar would be gone too. I'd fantasize about a National for a while, then buy another Liberty and put a McIntyre in it. I have a McIntyre Feather in my mandolin and I'm very pleased with that too.
