Features :
It's a piezo element and it's passive. Come with adhesive stripe, endpin jack soldered (and very well insulated) and mounting instructions.

Instrument :
Guitar: Regal RD 40 dobro
Mods: enlarging the strap button hole, or better, drill a second hole underneath
Artists: heard about Jerry Douglas using one of these
It mounts on the underside of the cone, the operation is tricky but it's worth sweating

Sound : 10
the output level is average, works better through a baggs para acoustic preamp. The sound is very clear and balanced and true to the instrument, sounds like an instrument playing through an expensive microphone. I play folksongs, americana, country and blues as a sideman. This sensible pickup helps me to do powerful slide blazes fillings cutting through the mix or just to fix up quiet atmospheres.

Overall Rating : 10
I could keep raving about these pickups for hours, but I will make it short. It's very effective, cheap, and musical. and it holds feedback like nothing else. I play in clubs and small festivals and each time I have guitar players coming asking what the hell are these pickups I use.
