Features :
passive peizo with build in volume control way cool,

Instrument :
once on my wasburn d-10 i found it to be resposive and instrument friendly. sound was good tone. the clip was falling out of the housing so I super glued it back.

Sound : 6
works best at full volums and adjustment made at the amp I use a zoom 505 set for clean. I finger style and strum and sing and find the pickup works well with voice range.
I put this on my cajon and found it did not get a good deep bass.

Overall Rating : 6
if lost or distroyed i would most likley mic up with a sm-57 to the board.

Features :
Pickup features: Clip on Contact Mic with volume control.
Impedence or other specs: ?

Instrument :
Model of guitar or bass: Texarkana WJ-750 (cost about $100, so i didnt want an expensive pick up)
Position: neck
Pickup being replaced: None
Other pickups on guitar: None
Artists using this pickup: ??
You musical style(s): Blues, Classic and Classic-Style rock, Funk
Reason for pickup change:

Sound : No Opinion
Perceived output level: Decent. Put it on the bass side of the guitar. Cable might get annoying, but it sounds better that way, a lot better.
Tone: Sort-of trebly, but you can work it out with the amps settings, like i said, PUT IT ON THE BASS SIDE, IT SOUNDS BETTER.
Sonic evaluation: Peavey Rage 158. Sounds pretty darn good, given I paid 20 bucks for the pickup, 50 for the amp, and 100 for the guitar. Bet it would sound even better with an acoustic-guitar amp and a nicer guitar.

For which styles and positions is this pickup (un)suitable: Blues, Funk, Classic/Classic-style Rock. like i said, put it on the bass side, and slide it rather close to the neck.

Overall Rating : 10
Comments: I seriously doubt someone would steal something this ugly, but yes, i would buy another one, either that or a new guitar with build-in electronics. I've bean playing for maybe 10 months, i own a Peavey Internation Predator. I love teh fact that the louder this thing is turned up, the less hum, and the better tone. The cable is annoying, but theres no way to really fix that on a removable pickup. I didnt compare it to others, because i couldnt afford the others... bought it on a gamble for the price, i won, i think. I wish they had used a heavier gauge cable, this one sort of pops when you mess with it, but hey, once again, 20 bucks. Great deal, really.

Features :
Pickup features: Contact Mick/with volume
Impedence or other specs: no clue

Instrument :
Model of guitar or bass: Seagull s6+
Position: middle
Pickup being replaced: Dimazaro Super Natural
Other pickups on guitar: none
Artists using this pickup:
You musical style(s): folk/acoustic pop
Reason for pickup change: Other soundhole pickup did not suit my seagull.

Sound : No Opinion
Perceived output level: To Die for Hot
Tone: Perfect
Sonic evaluation: Anything i can find as far as an amp

For which styles and positions is this pickup (un)suitable: This is good if you want the sound of a real acoustic guitar for example folk music, however is terrible if you hate the tone of an acoustic

Overall Rating : 10
Comments: If you can find one of these little buggers buy it right away, because it is the first pickup that blew away anything else on the market as far as soundhole pickups. It is a little black trapezod with a volume nob, which may not seem like much, but it is all that is needed. This would be great for any high end guitar that you do not want to butcher or for those who do not like the finnicky nature of under the bridge piezo's. It is the natural sound of an acoustic, if you have a great sounding acoustic (which I do), buy one if you find one.
