I have been playing a Gibson SJ100 equipped with a Fishman in the saddle. The signal chain was through a Boss Eq into an Ashly MX508 mixer and then into the effects rack and out a pair of powered speakers. Great set up, problem was the lack of onboard control, no notch filter, batteries in EQ pedal. The signal went into the Ashly's line in instead of the XLR connections, I had to run the input gain very high and that left little headroom.

I plugged this into the XLR cable, turned on the phantom power, dialed in the manufacturer's basic starting setup and bam, was absolutely stunned with the tone, control and crystal clear output. I've used the Boss AD systems, the Yamaha AG Stomp, Tech 21 Acoustic DI, The Fishman Pro EQ and the LR Baggs Paracoustic DI. I like the dual output feature on the DI Plus which allows a host of other signal paths.
