All hand made by luthier Albert Roussel in Sherbooke(Quebec, Canada). Features a solid mahogany neck with 21 frets,a Solid Sitka spruce top and laminated maple back and sides. the body is cutaway. The tuners have no name on them but I've had the guitar for 6 years and never had problems. There were no built in electronics but I went back to see Mr. Roussel and got the Fishman Acoustic Matrix Natural II system installed and oh my god does it sound sweet!!

It has a really nice clear and bright sound with good bass defenition. For the price I paid for it, i'm sooooooooo satisfied. You can clearly hear that the solid spruce top and the overall professionnal conception delivers quality tone. This is one of Mr.Roussel's affordable with high quality models so it's exactly what I needed 6 years ago. Soon i'll buy Mr.Roussel another guitar. Because he also builds pro quality models that make me dream a lot. I've played a couple Martin guitars and once a Breedlove guitar and I want one of Mr.Roussel's pro models because they are in the same league!
Action, Fit, & Finish

The guitar was set up perfectly from the factory. Mr. Albert Roussel has been a professionnal luthier for 25+ years now so you wouldn't expect anything else. I didn't find any flaws on the guitar. The finish is beautiful and still shining like it's new atfer 6 years of intense guitar playing.

I've been playing this guitar intensivly for 6 years and live for about 2 years. The hardware is totaly reliable and even if I never play without a backup, I never needed one up until now. I know I can depend on this axe!

I really got lucky with this purchase since it was the 9th guitar Mr.Roussel ever made. He originally built only violons but he decided to enter the world of guitar making about 8 years ago. He now made has over 70 guitars and trust me he reached Martin quality guitars. I plan on buying one of his new "pro quality guitars". They are a little expensive at around 2000-2500$ but it's a guitar that no one in the world will have. Anyways i'm really satisfied with the guitar I have right now too so I give it a 10 because it has fantastic value!
