Just read about this guitar. I do owe one with serial number 3261 and I??m havong it for some years by now.
As mentioned, the cedar-smell rises as soon as you start to play. About humidity: let me tell you, that I??ve been living for 2 years in a caravan in open spanish country, where it doesn??t rain so much, but it??s rather humid air. Very often I just left the guitar outside the case on its stand and I must say that humidity didn??t affect the instrument in no way, nor did it get untuned, as my accoustic-guitar use to do under same circunstances.
I applied 2 dot-pick-upsinside the body (one under each end of the bridge) and plugged in it still gots its wonderful great sound, even filling larger places.
Neck is perfect and for easy play and the frets are well finished (important for me), so one can run the hand up and down with no scratches on the hand

Sound : 10
Sound is great, rich & warm. I use it for playing the blues and eventualy rocking or even playing some flamenco.
As to blues, folk, rock, R&B: for its rich warm sound this guitar is perfect
As to flamenco: since its not a flamenco-guitar the brilliance of the flamenco is missing, sond??s too warm
Depending on the player and his tecnics, this guitar can cry, whisper, speak out loud??n clear... it does whatever you ask it to do

Action, Fit, & Finish : 10
action came a bit high, though not too high - I??d put it down a bit at the nut actual measuring??s: first fret 3mm and 12th fret 5mm
bridge is firmly and fair set
laque finish is finely done (even Gerundino, old friend of mine and a great flamenco-guitar-builder himself, said so, when he saw this instrument)
mecanics are gold-coloured and rosette is of good craftmanship

Reliability/Durability : 10
This guitar went with me through many gigs, being played in the most
different places and never has given me any problem at all
hardware is long-lasting (in 6 years of dayly use I can??t complain)I removed the strap buttons to install the input for the jack - original strap button has been well set in, but, since I??ve never used it, I can??t tell more about it
as a protection I??ve layed a transparent thin plastic as a pick-guard and it does fine
to me, this guitar has always been absolutely reliable
if you??re good in quickly restringing a guitar you won??t need a backup (I always put on new strings before a gig)

Customer Support : No Opinion

Overall Rating : 10
I??ve been playing this guitar for 6 long years and, though for a year by now I??m not playing it anymore, if someone tries to steal this guitar from me, I??d cut his hands off
It??s an instrument worth to pay it full respect for being a very fine guitar, able to match any great guitar in this world
