Small bodied acoustic. Very small neck, great for smaller hands, feels a lot like a Fender Telecaster Neck. Satin body, mahogany top and that is about it. Cheap tuners that will need replacing if you get this guitar, and the nut and saddle are very cheap plastic.

I bought this guitar secondhand, and i was not a very big fan when i got it. I love the size, great for traveling, and I absolutely love the neck. I have changed the bridge pins to brass, and the nut and saddle to bone. I must say those few small changes made this one of the best sounding guitars i have ever played. Not a lot of presence to it, pretty low volume, but very crisp and clear sounding with a perfect mix of highs and lows. Darker tone due to the Mahogany. I am in love with the guitar. If you know how to carve a bone nut and saddle, it is the best thing you can do for your guitars, if you can', but some bone blanks on ebay, some cheap files, and learn. ( that is what i did)

If you can't afford a Martin or a Taylor, ( and not a HPL model, a solid wood Martin or Taylor ) i think this is one of the best bets for your money. get this now and save the rest you have to spend for a high end acoustic. This guitar is fine for all applications. Sounds great recorded. Sounds great live.

OOO size guitar body with a solid mahogany top and laminate back and sides of mahogany. Since 90% of the sound comes from the top of the guitar the laminaye actually makes this guitar alot more resistant to temperature changes although you should ALLWAYS use a guitar humidifier in the winter. Satin finish body and top and a WONDERFULL neck. Very easy to play and delightfull to look at has an understaed elegant look and nice sound hole rosette

This guitar has magnificent sound for the price. The notes sing out clear and crisp. The solid mahogany top gives the guitar just the right amount of sweet yet dark tone.Sounds wonderfull and much, much better than many guitars costing tripple what this cost new. All in all a GREAT sounding guitar and amazing volume for the size. The guitar really shines in this catagory.

Although it has the cheap nut and saddle the Avarez uses on it's inexpensive line the action, fit and finnish were perfect. low action with no buzz. You can get it to buzz if you play way to hard on it but that's basically a beginners problem for an experienced guitarist this guitar is set up beautifully and even fingerpicking sounds good despite the low action. Alvarez has done a great job on this guitar

This is a take anywhere, play anywhere guitar that you can afford to bring with you wherever you want. The laminate back and sides add to it's durability and it's inexpensive enough that you won't have to worry about a ding or a scratch. It rates very high here.

This is a fun guitar with suprisngly good sound and a guitar you can bring anywhere without worrying too much about. The setup at the factory was excellent, the playability is awesome and the tone is amazing for the peice. I can't recomend this guitar enough. If you don't want to deal with the dreadnought size and want a go anywhere guitar that's smaller with great sound than you should grab one of these. I think it's the best guitar made in it's price range. I've been playing for 40 years and this is as good or better than alot more expensive guitars. This is a purchase you won't regret.

Satin Finish 000 size acoustic guitar. Chrome tuners, generic. Thin neck, ( good for smaller hands, i have long fingers, but still do fine), rosewood finger board and mahogany neck. No accessories. Assume it was made in 2006. 14 frets above the body 20 total. Solid mahogany top, some sort of laminate sides and back. No on board electronics.
Fret dots on fingerboard and on the side of fingerboard. Assume middle of category is average so rated at 5. Pretty little plain guitar. Nice looking, not fancy.

This is a bright little guitar. The mahogany definetly lends the sound a "darker sound". It's not a dreadnaught so doesn't have tons of bass. with the 000 size, it is expected. I also play a Martin, this is my travel around guitar, but i find the sound excellent. there is a good review of this guitar on the Acoustic Guitar site. Says everything much better than me.

No complaints here. Guitar was well set up. It comes with some coated strings which took some getting used to. A name brand that i can't remember at the moment. If you really dig in to the low E string you can get buzzing, but nothing that was of concern. I almost always have my guitars set up by a local guitar tech, but didn't feel any need on this instrument.

Appear to be a durable guitar. I'm not a gigging musician and take care of my things. Only one strap button, plastic and pulls out like it is supposed to on the tail.

I've been playing for a had full of years. Not expert by any stretch and have a reasonable ear. Can tell when something is crap. This is a fun little guitar and is a lot of fun to play . Appears well contructed and has a pleasant understated look to it. I'd replace it in a heart beat if I lost it. I'm very impressed by the value in this. If someone were a beginner, it would tke them a long way. I got this because I wanted this body shape and material with a less than painful price.
