This is a fairly small/mid bodied acoustic guitar that features a Cedar top, Cocobola Rosewood back & sides, Curly Maple binding, sound port on side, multi-laminated neck, binding on neck. Acoustic guitars don't have a ton of features, but it woods and detail counts, this is a 10.
Sound

This guitar is the best sounding Cedar top acoustic I have ever played. It has a very woody sound, and rich highs and solid mids. The bass response is great considering it's Cedar and a fairly small body. Amazing tone only found in a truly hand crafted guitar.
Action, Fit, & Finish

The finish is basic, it brings the wood out which is great because the wood is amazing on this guitar!
The action came out low and nice. It plays like a dream all the way up the fretboard. I like it for fingerstyle guitar.

I have not 'gigged' with it but I imagine it iwll hold up just fine.

Andrew is a great luthier and one of the nicest guys you'll meet. David who helps build and deal with PR is also a very nice guy who is full of great information, not to mention a great guitar picker in his own right. They went out of their way to get me the guitar 'of my dreams'.

For a long time, I have wanted to have the guitar I picture in my head built to my spec. The Andrew White Model E body style is amazing, and being able to hand pick my own woods and talk directly to them during the process was the most amazing experience I have had when purchasing anything. I was lucky enough that I didn't live too far away, and really got to take part in the buying and building of my guitar. The guitar came out amazing and exceeded my expectations. It is truly a beautiful instrument.
