This one was a first year model that I had that was made by Kaman. It had an aluminum fretboard.

Sound : 10
It had a real good sound for all kinds of styles

Action, Fit, & Finish : 8
The action I had to set up myself by either adding or subtracting ivory slivers that were under the ivory nut.

Reliability/Durability : 10
This was durable enough to withstand live playing. The hardware on it was excellent and would last a long time.

Customer Support : 10
Customer Support was pretty good with helping me find out how much the guitar was worth and about having it repaired. Unfortunately the guitar's soundboard was beyond repair as warped as it was from the Missouri heat and cold.

Overall Rating : 10
I've been playing for 15 years and this was one of the first full size acoustics I had. I got it from my grandfather after he passed on. It took about an hour to clean it and a Sigma DR-3 I had. If the guitar was stolen, I would kill to get it back. I loved everything about it. I eventually gave the guitar away to my brother for Christmas.

This was an acoustic only and I got it in 1979. It had the aluminum neck/fretboard.
Intonation was a little out and un fixable but not intolerable with some creative tuning.
played it 18 years and finally some frets wore down and being a part of the aluminum neck
I thought I might someday have them welded and file them to get rid of the rattle.
Liked it really well. Had an brass nut and brass bridge put on it. Was great.
1 to 10?? about an 8 for durability, and a 1 for not being able to replace frets

Sound : 8
used a barcus beary junior pickup and it sounded big and fat. not much feedback either.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 5
The plastic top cracked because wood and plastic don't expand and contract at the same rate.

Reliability/Durability : 9
Played it to death, didn't baby it

Customer Support : 1
Wrote them a letter to get help with the intonation problem. No answer.

Overall Rating : 8
Served me well until I wore it out. I would buy another one.
