Basically a Martin 000-28 copy, although it has the longer 25-1/2 OM scale. Gloss body, Satin neck , Nice Solid spruce top, although fussy buyers might not like the slight variation of thickness in the grain, Laminated Rosewood back and sides, multi B/W/B binding and parquetry backstripe, Black scratchplate ala 000-28 style, unbranded tuners, look kinda like Gotohs, modern design, not open back Vintage types. No case supplied. No pick up.

Pretty surprising for a Laminate Back and sides, I bought it for a cheap Knock about so I wouldnt have to take my Gibson camping, and you know what, its a little too nice for that too. Not stifled like alot of cheaper guitars , it has a nice middly, open sound, dare I say like a 0M martin? Purfect for my fingerstyle blues, strums pretty well too, but dont expect it to fill a room like a Dreadnaught, Im comparing it to other small bodied guitars Ive owned. One thing I have noticed with other guitars is that once the new strings mellow off a bit, they loose there tone, not so with this one, just keeps on ringing. I compared it with similarly priced instruments( Yamaha FS720S, Seagull Grand, Epiphone EL-00, and a Cort something) and it was head and shoulders better.

Played great out of the box, havent touched it. Pretty amazing since its label says 2002 and I bought it brand new mid 2007. Fit and finish is very nice, the only thing I have noticed is a little overuse of glue on the inside of the guitar, but my Gibson has this too. Nice smell too. Oh, the heel of the neck is 2 piece, you can see the join under the Laquer. Doesnt worry me.

Just take it back to the shop you bought it from. Always worked for me.

Great Guitar. The fact that its priced so reasonably is that I think the secret on this brand isnt out yet. Get one while you can.

Beautiful solid sitka spruce top with a nice honey toner finish. Rosewood sides and back are probably laminate but it is till very pretty. The guitar is modeled after the Martin 000-28. Has the satin mahogony neck with is so much better than a sprayed on polyurthene finish. This is just what Martin does with the satin neck which glosses the more you play it. Rosewood fretboard is high quality though I like ebont better. The neck is a slim profile, not too small, really confortable. I got it for $350.00 with a nice case.

The sound stands up against a Martin 000-28 espicially for the first deven or so frets. Nice bass and strong treble. I am very impressed with this sound.

It came set up perfectly with some very small metal shims under the saddle. I changed the saddle (which is probably plastic) with bone. Only $5.95 and the sound is more distinct and the sustain has increased.

Reliability/Durability : 9
The guitar while being a small auditorium style feels very solid. It is not flimsy at all. The finish is perfet and seems to stand up very well. I'd play it anywhere. The Grover style tuners keep the guitar in tune VERY well. Much better than my Martin D-28 did.

Havent had to contact them yet. Don't see any reason as of yet.

I've been playing some thirty years and consider myself a better than average player. I've had more guitars than I can remember. I sold my Martin D-28 and got this AF-35 and the AD-80 dreadnaught and pocketed $350.00 in the process. I loved the D-28 but these two guitars are better sounding and really beautiful. I think these are made in Japan or China but they are of excellent craftmanship. Name dropping don't mean nothing to me. The sound and playability is all that matters to me and these Aria guitars are my choice....hands down. I am a very happy camper.
