Construction is very good

This is where this guitar really goes beyond expectations. The sound is amazingly good. Loud; woody; deep bass; nice even treble; mid range is matched to level of lows and highs.
The incredible sound quality is much better than any guitar in this price range. In fact it compares well to the most expensive acoustic guitars of this style.
By far the best sounding guitar I have ever played.
Action, Fit, & Finish

Fit and finish and construction quality are excellent; nearly flawless.
Action from factory was pretty good.
The problem with this guitar is the cut of the nut. The neck is a standard width - perfect for 1-11/16 inch string spacing. However, the nut was cut with string spacing that was too narrow for great playability. I found this to be true of some other makers as well (Dean comes to mind). I replaced the nut with one that has better string spacing and now it plays great.

My AD-50 has held up perfectly. I see no problems with durability.
I did replace the tuners with gold-tone Ping tuners with amber tuning buttons (so that the gold will not wear off with years of tuning).
The guitar holds tune very well. It held tune with the original tuners that came on it (really nothing wrong with them).
Looks better with gold-tone tuners. Guitar is dependable.

This guitar gets a 10 due to the exceptional construction and sound quality. But, remember the nut is cut with very small fingers in mind -- the string spacing is too narrow. YOU WILL NEED TO REPLACE THE NUT.
In this price range, I played the Epiphone masterbuilt rosewood model. I like it. But the Aria is a better sounding guitar. Nothing else that I could find even comes close. You would have to spend near $2,000.00 to get a comparable sounding guitar.

Well I tried about 30 guitars in my price range and in the thousands, don't get me wrong the high end stuff was nice, but after you take it home and play it for a couple of times it all the same. This guitar is very well balance and puts some high end guitars to shame. Like everybody else said it like a well behavior martin without the big price tag. Sorry martin but Aria has one on you and for a quarter of the price.

I pretty happy with my purchase i was able to get the last piece a music store had laying around so for $400 I feel this one a keeper, by the way you don't see to many of them on ebay.
