made in Canada ,2003,21frets ,laminated top ,schaller style tuners ,wild cherry top and back ,rosewood fingerboard ,transparent satin finish.

the sound of this guitar is what sold me .it's bright and very clean for it's cost. i play it through a roland micro cube pluged into a peavey encore 65 tube amp with a dean markley promag gold pick up.it makes lots of unique sounds. it has no buzzes even played hard. i play rock, country rock and blues. it fits those styles nicely.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 8
i haven't changed a thing from the factory set up. the action was perfect.the only flaw was in the finish on the neck which wore off at the first fret rather quickly. this model is finished simply with no body inlays and binding only around the top.

Reliability/Durability : 8
this guitar has stood up pretty good so far other than the finish problem i mentioned. the machine heads are tight and the guitar holds in tune well. strap button is securely mounted.it's alot heavier than my 6 string acoustic and seems quite solidly made.

Customer Support : No Opinion
haven't had to deal with them. has a lifetime waranty

i've been playing for about 35 years. i also own a fender mex strat.,a hagstom viking 1n circa 1973.an el degas mt 18 acoustic circa 1975, and a squire mb4 bass. i would definately replace it if it were lost.it's sound is what i like best. i don't like it's weight. i looked at guild, seagull, fender, and norman 12 strings before buying.i am happy with my choice.price was a factor.

Features described by the other reviewers, though mind does not have any electronics. Basic 12 String setup, no flash, but actually a really nice coloring to the cherry wood. One good point is that these are guitars don't rely on 'endangered' woods and still give off great tone. Tusq Compenated saddle and nut are a great feature that moves it from a 8 to a 9.

Sound : 10
Fantastic, best sounding 12 in the store when I bought it. No buzz, the cherry wood reflects like maple. Nice and bright, but with good bottom end.

Action, Fit, & Finish : No Opinion
I will state I love the Art and Lutherie necks, on both the 12's and 6 strings. Lots of room (width), and nice and thin depth. Action was set by the store, have not had to go back.

Reliability/Durability : 9
Have not used it live, but it has stood up to a few years of abuse.

Customer Support : No Opinion
Have not used them.

15 yrs playing, own a bunch of mid-range stuff (but selective!) because I don't need to impress or 'over-buy my skill'...

This guitar was a gift, my wife was buying me a 12 string, and I had an "up to $800 limit". This was her money, and still I bought a $230 guitar. I tried out a multitude of others, and this one by far sounded best, played best, and felt best. What can I say except "I had to have it". With the laminate top, it won't ever sound better, but, it won't ever sound worse. Also, with the lack-of-respect am prone to I give my gear, laminate may be the way to go for the beaters(all the solid tops I have live in their cases now, though...I can learn!).

100% recommend this guitar, no matter what the price.

This Guitar was mae in 2004, in Canada. Its got 21 frets, but you cant even reach the last 4 frets with out struggling because it has no cut-away. this giutar has nothing electric about it, just a simple acoustic. It has non-locking tuners and as the name indicates, a wild cherry finish.

Sound : 8
The sound is pretty good for such a cheap guitar. It's not as crisp as i'd like it to be, but its nice to mess around with. It's definently loud. I wouldn't really say its rich, but its full. i have martin strings on it right now and it sounds a bit muddy.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 10
The guitar looks really nice, thatr's for sure. Looks like its worth a lot more than what you pay for it. The tuners are really small, so the headstock with doesnt look awkward with the 12 tuners on it.

Reliability/Durability : 9
This guitar is not meant to play live with. It can not be amplified (without use of a microphone) so it's better for "in the house" play. It comes with only one strap button. I went to my local long and mcquade and got the other one installed for only $5, so this is no big deal. ive actually hit this guitar against my kitchen counter and dropped it before, and its withstood everything, so it's solid.

Customer Support : No Opinion
I never had a warranty on this guitar. I had to get it repaired because the neck was messed up, but after that its been really good to me since. I havent dealt with the company though.

Overall Rating : 9
Ive only been playing for about 2 and a half years, but in that time ive tried more amps and guitars than I can count. I have a Les Paul Standard, Marshall Artist 3203 and marshall 1960 cab, and some other basses and gear. This guitar certainly isn't a taylor, but i think its really fun to play for friends or family.

Mine was made in 2004. It has 21 frets. It is a laminated top. It has Quantum electronics. Basically it has all of the features of the six string wild cherry model....except it's a 12.

Sound : 9
The sound from this guitar is exceptional. I was in the market to get a 2nd 12-string and tried Alvarez and Takamine jumbos that listed for about twice the price. I was not impressed with either. This guitar has a full, rich sound.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 10
I bought the guitar set up by the dealer and they did a pretty good job. The action is very low, with little to no buzz, depending on how hard I strum. I can fret all the way up the neck to the body at the 14th fret with exceptional ease. I have fat fingers, but the strings are spaced enough that I can fingerpick easily. I love playing this guitar. As far as the finish, it is an eye-pleasing almond color and is finished like all other Art & Lutherie models. The neck feels great, not too fat nor too thin.

Reliability/Durability : 9
I have only had this for 6 months and so far so good. I think this is definately a players' guitar. I own 4 other Godin/Lasido guitars and each of them has held up pretty well. I expect no less from this.

Customer Support : No Opinion
I haven't had to deal with the company.

Overall Rating : 9
I would definately buy another of these if one came along. I would go for a solid cedar top, though. The laminate sounds great, but it won't improve with age like a solid top guitar. This is an excellent guitar for the money.
