Bought thru Craigslist in 2007; seemingly laminated spruce top and laminated 3-piece back with rosewood and a maple I think, center. Very pretty. Snowflake fret markers. Looks like a Kiso-Suzuki type of guitar. Says "made in Japan". Have no idea of the age or original OEM, since there is no information on internet.

Sounds great; had medium strings when I bought it but I don't trust medium strings on anything for very long so I changed them to lights and now I can bend easier of course and the sound is still Very good to excellent. It's very bright, and I think equal to anything less than $2000 or so except maybe some Larivees and Martins I played at their factory. Definitely worth the $100 I paid. I actually bought it for my 9-year old to learn to play and I benefit. It has a tight bright sound that is not as loud as my Suzuki W300D, bass-wise or treble-wise, but maybe better separation when played loud.

Everything important was perfect; setup, frets, and action. But the finish is very thick and actually looks like it was painted on around where the neck meets the sides. Kind of weird.

I've been playing for over 35 years. Great action and sound. I have a Kiso Suzuki W300D that is my standard for acoustic sound and this is very good, not as loud, but still very nice; I also have a Yamaha FG-412 12-string; an Alvarez AC60S classical (great sound) and a Suzuki Nagoya 700 (jangly and different).
I really like this guitar and think I got a great deal. Probably equal to a $800 - 2000 guitar sound, depending on mfr of course.
One thing I forgot to mention...it has an installed jack and bridge pickuyp that WORK! I don't know if this is aftermarket but what a deal. Sounds good amplified.
