Features : 10
I purchased this guitar on ebay. If you look at them you will be amazed at the features. They have incredible carvings (carved in Bali) At first I thought,,,, looks great but what about playability and sound. The neck is somewhat thicker. The dreadnought is somewhat larger. You can get the L L Baggs pickup installed. There is no onboard tuner or EQ. Again,,,, the striking visual features on these guitars is incredible!!

Sound : 10
The sound,,,,,, I've never heard anything like this and I'm 57,,,, been plunking since I was 14. I've had Ovation Adamas,,, Taylors,,, Martins,,, Harmony,,, antique and new. Because they etch the guitars,,, they sound incredible right out of the case the first time. I didn't much care for the strings that came with it so I put elixer mediums on and WOW!!! I played 6 hours the first time till my fingers were sore for two days. I fingerpick the song Blackbird by the Beatles which requires excellent intonation at the 12th fret. Not a problem and it sounds excellent in the upper registers.

Action, Fit, & Finish : No Opinion
You can choose the settings from the maker. Danny Fonfeder, the CEO called me personally. He also kept in constant communication via email. The guitar came exactly as I ordered it. To me,,, it doesn't get any better than this.

Reliability/Durability : 9
As for durability,,, I recommend putting a clear pick guard over the carvings below the sound hole to protect the carvings and finish. It should come with one so I must rate it only a 9 here. The finish is excellent. The strap buttons cost extra. I had mine installed and they are fine. As for needing a backup I don't know. That's up to you. I haven't used it in a live setting yet so I can't comment on feedback or other possible issues there.

Customer Support : 10
Customer support???? Just call the owner/CEO Danny Fonfeder. He'll give you his cell number and email address. From my conversation with him,,,, this man will do anything within reason to make you happy.

Overall Rating : 10
I've been playing 43 years.

I own a Rivera amp and a California Blonde,,,, Ovation classical and a Taylor 714ce.

If I lost this guitar, I'd definately purchase another one.

I love everything about this guitar and I guess once I got past looking at all the carvings,,,, I love the tone. The response is flexible so you can project your feelings. Remember, this is a high end custom made guitar and be prepared to pay a fair price.
