I paid about 150.00 for this off ebay. It delivers a surprising professsional sound with with even depth, mids and highs across the board. If I would have known about these earlier, a lot more people would have them. I am a career guitarist, (most recent, 15 years in the studio in Nashville, TN,) and have a Marty Lantham (Nashville Guitar Co.) 0M Brazilian, a D-28, and a nice little 0-16 Martin New Yorker, besides multitudes of strats and other electrics, amps, etc.... This guitar will get played a lot as a substitutue for those wet weather gigs, etc....

I would play any gig with this guitar. We all know the sound is in the hands, but it helps to have a sweet start.

Mine appears to be a 1992 model standard dreadnought.
Has a full 14 frets (2 above the octave)
Solid matte pine top.Dark striped wood on back (Looks like rosewood) with split mirrored L & R sides with a decorative braided looking seam down the center.
I installed an after-market Martin thinline pickup in it, and have had great response from it.
Matte finish with black pickguard.
Full dreadnought (Not cutaway)
Standard Acoustic guitar bridge with pegs and saddle.
Silver colored Grover style covered tuners.
Small thin neck. Not as narrow as an Ovation, but more like my Takamine Acoustic.
Bought it used, so it came with nothing.

Suits me fine. I use this guitar as my "Campfire guitar". I use it to take to campfires, birthday parties, beach music circles, and places where I don't want to bring one of my more expensive guitars. I play many styles, Blues/Funk/Folk/Rock are most prevalent.
It is not noisy, just bright with the Martin Thinline in it.
Yes, a rich full sound, much better than any other guitar I've ever heard in it's price range.
I only buy guitars that can run the emotional gammut with me, so it has both the ability to play soft and sensitive as well as Jam it.
No complaints. I love this guitar.

I did have the action lowered at my local guitar shop, but now it's done exactly to my liking.
Aftermarket pickup.
Bookmatched back, solid top. Bridge seems fine.
No flaws that I noticed.

This guitar is the one I NEVER worry about. I can beat on it and it holds up. It is my "Campfire guitar". Again, I take it anywhere and everywhere when I will not take another instrument. It seems to be no worse for wear, and this is exactly why I bought it.
Hardware and finish seem solid and well applied.
I feel like I can depend on this guitar. I don't usually play it plugged in, but I do have the option. I just don't have any volume or EQ controls on the guitar. If I needed it for an indoor regular gig, I wouldn't hesitate. Mostly I play it outside.

I once played another guy's Blueridge at a music circle. I really liked it and asked him about it. He said the old ones were much better than the new ones, because the company had been sold, and had lowered their standards from the old company. When I ran across this one in a used guitar store, it reminded me of that guy's guitar, so I bought it.

Early 90's Blueridge dreadnought. Matte finish, slim neck--not sure what woods were used, might be some cedar in the body and looks like a maple neck.

Rich, warm and full. Definitely does NOT sound like the cheap Asian import that it is. I built and installed a piezo pickup and it sounds beautiful plugged in.

Action's as low as my '77 Gibson J-50 Deluxe, but has a matte finish rather than a glossy laminate which I like better. The neck is very fast and the overall setup is great. The tuning pegs hold well and the guitar has stood the test of time.

This guitar can handle abuse. It's a workhorse. Finish might be a little thin but that's probably the least of my worries. I need a guitar that can stand the test of time and lots of use, and so far it has delivered, and then some.

If other Blueridge's are as good as this, I'd consider buying another. This is quite a find for a lower-end guitar that can run with the big dogs. It's not my Gibson, but it's a close second. And miles ahead of most other Japanese/Chinese/Korean plywood wonders I've played.
