I love this guitar, the sound is wonderful
My guitar teacher who is a professional player like it also very much, he told me :
This guitar is better than a Santa-Cruz who cost 3 times the price!
The sound is warm and rich

I have compared this guitar with different other brand:
Martin D 28: I think it was very close but the Martin was too expensive for me
I have tried other brand like Takamine ,Washburn, Seagull???
But I was coming back to this guitar, for the sound, the design and the perfect finishing

I play mostly acoustic stuff 70s and earlier.. Killer sound, very aged type of tone, almost like its been played hard for 32 an a half years... Finger style and strumming are welcome on this ax..I compared it to my guild d55, the jury returned in minutes and convicted the guild of having no tone or volume, and sentenced it to be returned for a br280..No fooling people these guitars are amazing, dont listen to the guy in the other review who says it dosent sound like his hd28, Or should I say do listen to him, hes right, BLUERIDES sound better then Martins, hes just protecting his investment, as are many other people are... HELLO>>> HELLO dont give these thief companys the outrages prices they are asking, especailly taylor, that guy should be locked up, how he sleeps is a mistery to me.. Anyway, blueridge guitars are all great, buy one..

I've heard alot of guys compare this guitar and the BR160 to a Martin HD28 and I'll say that I have a HD28 and there is a difference. Sure the Blueridge sounds great but the simple fact of the matter is that it is not a Martin therefore has a different sound. The Blueridge's tone is more focused in the mids and highs tone range and doesn't have the low bass that the Martin HD28 has. In my opinion, the Blueridge sounds more like the 000 model Clapton Martin. I will say that The Blueridge has excellent sound and projection. I put light guage strings on it and do lead work with it. It's also very loud.

The action was fine but I did have to adjust the neck.

Everything on this guitar is solid and great care was taken in the manufacture process. The inside is clean with no glue on joints and quality tone wood was used. This is the best instrument I've ever seen that was not built in the US. The Chinese have come a very long way and are blowing away Korean and most American made guitars.

I've been playing for over 35 years and have owned every upper end guitar brand you can name. The Blueridge is the best bang for the buck on the market right now but nothing compares to a Martin. I suggest you buy a Blueridge before the prices go up more.
