Sounds like a Martin D-42, tested it against my own, not surprised by this because its a pre-war copy, excellent quality. Psychologically still prefer Martin, but this guitar is definitely a better value for the money.
Action, Fit, & Finish

Action was a bit high for my taste coming out of the factory, but perfect for flatpickers and bluegrass players, had it setup by a local luthier, smooth as can be. The woods used are exceptional, the bone nut and saddle add to the sustain, overall excellent craftsmanship.

Just received this guitar, but don't see any reason why this guitar won't stand the test of time with proper care.

I have been playing 24 years, own a Martin D-42, an Epiphone Masterbilt Maple DR-500, and a Takamine 2005 LTD. If this guitar were lost or stolen I would definitely replace it, the reason I bought was so I could leave the D-42 at home. I chose this purely on the basis of its spec's. Wish it had Grover tuners, will be replacing the OEM tuners soon, nothing wrong with them 14:1 ratio VS. 18:1

Look, after playing for 3 hours and playing the strings in, the guitar just got better and better. Didn't need to use the Pick-up yet, it's very loud! Fantastic, I was amazed at how easy it was for me to play so high up the fretboard. Good for Blues, Rock, classical and Jazz. Very deep and full well balanced sound, strong bassy, just as bright as I like it. Best part-the sustain.

Unbelievable, bought this for my dad who has 35 years experience with guitars, and playing-connosuir. First words he spoke when picking up the guitar "wow beautiful action". Haven't even had it set up by a pro, out of the box-fast neck. Made in China, what? I can't believe it? The Chinese Luthiers must have some sweet hands, this guitar is so well set-up It's immaculate. There were 2 1cm wood peculiarities on either side of the bridge, under the finish, but I think this is just a unique feature of the wood. Any faults? NO NONE AT ALL. I'm real happy because it's going to be a collectors item, the first thing made in China that oozes quality.
I've heard alot about the tuning pegs, I was a bit worried about this, but when actually, you play one, and own one, it's not an issue. Even if it were, it's simply to wind guitar strings on certain sides of the pegs. This had no effect on the playability WHATSOEVER.

This baby is going to be stored in it's case at all times when not playing, will be well looked after. It struck me the guitar is quite light in weight (compared to my electa Gibson dove laminated copy), It's not going to be beat against a wall or anything, it will get better with age, looks to me like a timeless guitar that will go the journey.

I bought it off E.F Productions from ebay, imported it to Australia, now I think this must be one of the only ones down here. Had to pay duties and GST (Blame John Howard!) but it was packed properly with heaps of bubble wrap, and sent via USPS Global express, arrived into my hands in 6 days. Comes with a Saga lifetime warranty.

Although I bought this for me old man, I had a play. I mainly play electric guitars (Steinberger, Jackson, anything with a nice action)
I don't get sucked in by brandnames, I get sucked in by a nice guitar. Been playing for 14 years, compared it to a T.Haru, TAMA, Electa, Takamine, K.Yairi, because this is what we've played, our verdict was that this knocked the pants off them. Like the action and the sound the most on this guitar, but the look is spectactular. Took a bit of a gamble on it, seeing as it's not that well-known yet, but it paid off big time. I've seen other model blueridges, but felt this was best model, even nicer than the br-260 or 280. For sure the lesser models mean lesser quality (i,e br-160 and below). I wouldn't pay over $1200 for some brazilian rosewood, the East Indian Rosewood is better than you think. Chose it because it had a superb look and for the wood, pick up, and finish. My heart chose it, and now my head is certainly in agreement. And yeah, I'd buy another to replace it, will consider buying one for myself if I am going to get an acoustic.
