2006 Dana Bourgeois DB Signature Dreadnaught in Adirondack Red Spruce top with Brazilian Rosewood back/sides. Flame maple binding. Ebony fretboard. Waverly tuners. Bone nut/saddle. All solid.
Simply the most stunning, balanced, articulate, and sustained dreadnaught I have ever owned or played. A fantastic instrument in every way.
www.pantheonguitars.com has photos and specs on all of these guitars
The combo of Adirondack Spruce for the top and the Brazilian Rosewood for the back/sides automatically would add nearly $3K to the build cost/upgrade of this instrument. Most guitars I have seen like this sell for $6-7K and up new and around $5k used.
Sound

This guitar can play any style of music from bluegrass to folk to rock. The sound is warm, resonant, articulate and suits my singer-songwriter style very well. I am primarily a rhythm guitar player.
I expect this guitar to "open up" even more over the next few years.
I sold off several guitars to finance this purchase and it will never be sold. It's an instrument to pass down to my daughter.
Action, Fit, & Finish

Setup was perfect. Bookmatched Brazilian Rosewood back is very nice...grain is not as stunning as others but the sound is what counts. Dana Bourgeois is a master at "tapping tonewoods" to bring out the right sound. The bridge and action was set up low without any buzzing. Finish is impeccable.
Reliability/Durability

This guitar is hand-made by a master craftsman. His studio only makes 400 or fewer guitars a year. I know it will last and that Bourgeois will stand behind their guitar. I would not hesitate to gig with it without a backup...however, I would likely not bring it to a gig in order to avoid anything happening to it from a bonehead accident!

I have played for 25 years. I play dulcimer, mandolin and guitar.
I own 16 guitars and 25 instruments. I have played around the world.
I sometimes simply stare at this guitar it is so beautiful. But then it inspires me to pick it up and play it. I will never part with it.
It is the best value in an Adi/Brazilian out there.
I would hunt down anyone who stole it and eviscerate them on sight!
I would not hesitate to buy this guitar again. It will be bequeathed to my daugher after I die...because I will never sell it. It is the closest to the holy grail of tone I have ever heard in a guitar.
