I bought this guitar because I play lots of 12-string music and was in need of a concert body for ease of travel and comfort. I usually gig/play on a stool and this guitar is very comfortable; much more so than my larger dreadnaught and jumbo 12ers. Nice sound for a small body, although it really lacks low end bass, regardless of EQ setting. Guess I'd refer to it as somewhat tinny; similar to most Taylors. I like the size and comfort. Very light compared to my others and easily transported.

Action was almost perfect right out of the box; I prefer medium low and that's where it was set. I got that I think was a very reasonable price as a 2nd; although I cannot find any finish or performance flaws. Great guitar that fulfills the criterion I was seeking in size etc...

I plan to use it as a gig guitar, although I'll have a backup available as always. I expect it to withstand live playing, although I will relegate it's use to those tunes that sound best in high/mid range. I'll use a Guild for more boomy/bass needs.

Five year warranty included. Hope not to need warranty support, but I understand Breedlove is very responsible and reliable.

I've been playing off and on for more than 40 years. Much more frequent during the past couple of years as I'm back to gigging. I own seven vintage US-made Guilds (three of which are 12-string guitars). Recently sold two Taylor 355 12 strings and a Martin DX 12 none of which fulfilled expectations. To compare this to my heavy duty Guilds is rather unfair, the Guilds are in a league of their own. By comparison, I'll say the AC250sm-12 is not quite as good as the two Taylors mentioned above; better than the Martin...

Satin finish concert body 12 string. Pretty to look at, with abalone rosette and headstock inlay. The neck is substantial, as you'd expect in a 12 string, but to me, it seemed the most comfortable 12 I tried (and I tried a good many at various stores). No onboard tuner, but I love the Grover tuners. It comes with truss rod wrench and a very nice soft side case. More substantial than a "gig bag", it is an actual case. Very high class lookin'

I'm still getting used to this guitar, but it has a very full sound. I agree with the other reviews that it displays less of the typical 12 string "jangle" and more of a rich, almost piano like sound. Very nice. My style leans more toward blues playing. This guitar just seems to go right to the sound like Stevie Ray Vaughn's "Life by the Drop" guitar tone. I really like the sound

Action is pretty well right on out of the box. There were no issues with rust or anything, as it was plastic wrapped, in its case and boxed nicely. I've looked the axe over very closely and I can find no defects.

I think it'll stand up to live play. I have another guitar with Grover tuners so I know they are bulletproof. Strap pins seem real solid. As far as going without a back-up, I guess that would depend on the gig. I'm not big on going without back-up, but this guitar seems rock solid and I think it'd stand on its own just fine

I've been playing for 5 years, but I play EVERY day. I wish I would have had this guitar when I did my live show at our local Starbuck's!
Anyhow, if it were stolen, I'd want another just like it. I love the smaller concert size. Still has huge sound but the smaller body just fits so well! I like the understated fretboard position markers (classy looking). Prior to this, I looked at Taylor, Takamine and Epiphone. I liked the looks of the Takamine too, but the sound wasn't quite what this Breedlove is. I can't wait to get this thing out and show it to my friends! By way of comparison, here's what else I own. I have an Ovation 6 string and a Yamaha acoustics, two Strats and a Telecaster, an Epiphone Wildcat (kick *** guitar), a Rogue resonator and maybe another one or two here and there. I think I'm going to stack this Breedlove up as one of my most played. Some guitars just seem to make you want to play. This is one of those.
