It would be very difficult to add to the praise already lavashed on this guitar. The woods are absolutely beautiful and are of solid construction. I have carefully look for blemishes and found none. I especially liked the construction of the neck and fret board.

It has a full bright sound and it carries a lot of volume. I have played far more expensive guitars but found the quality of play to be on par or exceed these fabulous guitars.

The instrument had been in the music store for at least two years and I am sure it was played as a demo instrument numerous times. The factory setup was perfect me and the tuning machines never go out of tune. Everything is tight and solid with no rattles or buzz.

This is my favorite guitar in so many respects. I take it wherever I play outside of my home and have found it to be very durable, standing oup to weather and heavy use. The guitar case seems to be made for this guitar as it supports and protects the instrument very well.

I never had to contact Breedlove for a problem and I believe it has a five year warranty.

If you can't afford to buy a more expensive guitar, you will not be sacrificing anything by purchasing a Breedlove AD20/SR Plus. The beauty of its woods and abalone inlays would be enough for most folks to put their dollars down to buy one, but wait to you put it in your hands and start playing it! Its rich tones and strong booming volume make it perfect for playing in large open areas, but played softly it allows you to give beautiful expression to a wide variety of musical styles. O bought this beautiful guitar at half its retail value as the music store went out of business. Good living I guess.

I had to add one more thing to my previous review. My buddy came over the other day to check out my Breedlove. He brought his 40 year old Martin D-28 with Brazilion Rosewood with him. This is I very nice Martin, sounds and plays great.I wo'nt say the Breedlove sounded better but it was louder and had more sustain. It kept up with the Martin and did not embarass itself. My buddy wanted to go out and buy one right away( and he also has a D 18 and a D 35.Really glad I bought this guitar.

Sitka spruce top, solid rosewood back, laminate sides,Grover mini tuners-gold,Abalone on sides of binding, rossette, and oval diamond inlays on neck, absolutly no filler on neck inlays.Binding on sides of neck has thin white line following it which is beautiful. It came with a better hardshell case then my american Gibson did.

Unbelevable sound for a guitar in this price range.Does'nt sound like a Martin or Taylor has a very even sound ,great bass and sweet highs but not boomy or tinny.I flat pick mostly and this guitar just rings and cuts.

I can't find a flaw on this guitar and I tried.I'm a stickler about set up and have been setting up my guitars and my friends guitars for years. The action on this guitar measured exactly what they said it would in the owners manual,3/32 on the bass side at the 14th fret and 1/16 on the treble side,14th fret. There was'nt any relief on the neck straight as an arrow and the guitar does not buzz anywhere .I did'nt touch anything, it was perfect for me right from the factory. This is the first guitar (out of at least 50 I've owned that I can say that about.Tuning heads feel great and it stays intune very well.

A 5 year warranty is not the best in the business but it will do.I called to ask about the pinless bridge and somone answered right away and answered my question.

I've been playing for almost 40 years.I plays electric most of the time .When I play acoustic I play mandolin.I have American Fenders,a Gibson ,a Hamer, and a Flatirons mandolin.I havent had a acoustic for quite awhile. All I ever wanted was a nice Martin and I coud'nt afford one.I figured that if I bought a cheap acoustic I'd never get the one I wanted. When the goverment decided to give us some tax money back I decided I,d buy the best acoustic I could get for $600.I decided on the Breedlove AD20-SM at GC for $599.Not a bad little guitar for the money. Then I saw a Ad20 sr plus on another wall brand new with a $599 price tag no sale or anything. These sell for $899 normally so I went and got a saleman and bought it no questions asked.I do'nt think I'll ever need another acoustic guitar again .This is a real instrument not a wanna be.I would replace it if stolen.Thank you whoever put the wrong information in the GC computer.

This is a solid spruce top, Indian Rosewood back and Indian Rosewood ply sides dreadnought. The neck is mahogany and the fretboard I believe is rosewood. There are beautiful abalone inlays on both the top and fretboard. There is also a truss bracing system under the bridge that is factory adjusted for the guitar.

I have played tons of high-end guitars and this is up ther with ANY guitar I have ever played in ANY pricerange. It sounds absolutely amazing. As soon as I played it in the store I knew I was taking it home and I have never felt that way about any instrument.
I play in many alternate tunings such as DADGAD, DADGAE, Dmaj, Dmaj9, and lots of others and this guitar does them all brilliantly. From standard tuning to open C this thing shines. I have never played a more versatile guitar, and that is exactly what I need to cover the spectrum of sounds and styles that I play.
I cannot get over it. My friend's $2000 Martin sounds great in standard tuning, but is less exciting when tuned lower. The Breedlove is so much more impressive across the board.
The sound spectrum is incredibly even. There are no peaks or valleys in the EQ like you hear in almost every other acoustic guitar. The notes come out so even from the lows to the highs. Truly amazing.

As I stated before, from the moment I picked up this guitar I knew it was the one. It is beautifully built and I have tried to find a flaw in it to no avail. When I played it at the store, the action was perfect, but it was cold outside and when I got it home, I guess the neck had settled slightly and the action was a little low. A slight truss adjustment and it was beautiful again. No rough frets, no poor workmanship. It's hard to believe it was made in Korea. My thought is, if they can build a guitar in Korea that plays, sounds, and looks this nice and is this inexpensive, then by all means do. I couldn't be happier.

I've been playing music for half of my life. I play guitar, bass, drums, some mandolin and some piano. I own lots of high-end gear of each and I have to say that this guitar is my favorite.
While shopping for a new acoustic, I probably played 40 guitars by at least 7 different makers ranging anywhere from $1000 to $5000 and this one was the only one that I knew I wanted. There was no question then, and there is no question now. I could not be any happier with this guitar.

Well I do not know where to start on the features but I was most impressed with the Grained ivoirod binding. It has very good Abalone inlays, and feels like a 2500.00 custom acoustic in your hands.
The guitar however is a tad bit heavy due to the brace system under the bridge.
All the wood grains are tight and simply beautifull! This model is Solid Sitka, and Solid Rosewood back with Ply sides. (You cant tell thats for sure)
The guitar had no sloppy workmanship anywhere as some overseas models tend to be famous for.
LAST BUT NOT LEAST IS THE CASE.
The case is a easy 200.00 pro case. Very heavy duty, one you would see with a martin or taylor. The case fit the guitar completly and it is my guess that the case was custom made for the guitar.

This is where this guitar will blow you away.
The sound is unlike any over seas guitar I have ever played.
This guitar has the same quailty sound if not better than a Martin or Bourgeois slope D.
Very loud and vibrant. Guitar played as if it were already broke in and had been played for 20 years.
All notes play even and once you strum one you will not want to put it down. very unique sound, and volume is unbelievably loud.

The only flaw in this guitar was the action was set quite high. The neck was very straight, but the saddle was one of the highest set saddles I have ever seen. I shaved almost 1/4 " off it and then the action was 100% Perfect. Neck very comfortable and smooth. Frets were very smooth and dressed very well. No sharp edges at all.
Rosewood grain was breathtaking on both back and sides.
The top was clean and tight.
Not one flaw could be found in the finish or wood.

I have been playing for 25 years and own a Collings, Bourgeois, and Martin D35.
I have wanted a breedlove for some time and instead of buying a Focus, I bought this one, because it simply sounded better. I cant beleive how much money I saved, and money is not an issue.
This guitar will be one you will just flat out enjoy picking on!
