For a small, cheap guitar, it has a very good sound. Strong bass and fairly even throughout the strings. The cedar/mahogany combination keep the small guitar from sounding too bright. Good fingerstyle guitar with a clear crisp bass.

The guitar played well all the way up the fretboard. There are no finish flaws, and I don't see any glue. The finish seemed fairly thick, which I see a lot on cheap guitars.

This is where it falls apart. I have owned the guitar for about 18 months. When they built it, they made the cedar top too thin to hold solidly hold the bridge. The top wood had bent upward behing the bridge, and sunk in front of the bridge, angling the bridge, making it unplayable because the strings almost sit on the frets. Because I only paid $150 on sale for this, it's not worth money to repair it. It was a good guitar for about 1 1/2 years.

I've had this for over a year and a half. Sam Ash won't guarantee it. When I looked at another one of the same at Sam Ash, the salesman said he might be able to make a trade if I bought a new one and the same thing happened within 2 years. I didn't take him up on it, because the updated model had 14 frets clear and I like the older ones with 12 frets clear.

Sometimes those cheap store brand guitars sound pretty good, but you have to know that the quality won't be there. I really liked this guitar for as long as it lasted. I haven't found another guitar with a sound that I like for under $800.00. The guitar played very well fingerstyle. Its small size was very comfortable. But, because of the short time it lasted, I could only give it a 4 overall.

Can't find a lot of info about this guitar, only that they're probably a Sam Ash house brand?
Anyway for a cheap Parlor it has a really nice look and feel. Don't know about what woods are used. It has a natural finish. Looks like a cedar top /w rosewood back and sides. May be laminate especially at a price of $180. Does have a nice rosewood fretboard with special binding and dot inlay. Tuners are grover style and feel very solid. Nice rosette. Craftsmanship is typical of an import guitar but very nice I must say. Mine had a dime size finish flaw in the back of the neck so I got mine out the door for $140
Overall it has a very nice classic Parlor look to it which I found really nice at this price range. Oh yeah it's also an acoustic/electric which is also amazing at this price range.

This what sold me. Man for a cheap guitar it sounds great. Try a few of them if you have a chance. I was lucky enough to be in a store where they had two and they definitely sounded similar but different just the same. The guitar I bought has a very crisp, full sound with deep bass usually only found on much higher quality instruments. The Larrivee Parlor I tried couldn't even come close to the tone this guitar put out. Great for blues which is why I bought it. It would do equally well for any fingerstyle players. It has a nice comfortable fretboard.

Everything seems good to me. Action is set right. No finish flaws except the tiny one mentioned above. My reason for buying is I plan on sanding the entire guitar down and open up even more tone out of this guitar. If more people knew about this guitar it would definitely be selling more. The guys at Sam Ash told me that they love it and at the price they are really moving. The guy that sold me this one had already bought two and he even showed me his and what modifications he had done. He changed the tuners, pickup and liked my idea of sanding it down. Bottom line is this guitar for the money can't be beat.

Anyone looking for a nice acoustic/electric parlor but don't want to spend an arm and leg should seriously try some of these out. They will be talked about in the future and people will be saying "Damn I should have bought one while I had the chance". Remember the Epiphone Bluesmaster? No one thought that guitar was special either, now you can't find one to save your life. Parlor are makijng a serious comeback and that's bad for guys like me that love parlor's because the price is going to go up, up, up.
