Cody Seeler is a local luthier in Kona Hawaii. His guitars are available at Kiernan Music in Hawaii. He makes mostly ukuleles. I have one of his acoustic guitars. It is a 000 size. He makes each unique one of a kind. My guitar has green hand painted binding and around the sound hole at the rosette. The top is engleman spruce, and the back and sides are solid Koa. Open tuners. Not your plain old acoustic.
The bracing on the back has a unique design that allows it to resonate better, and the guitar is probably a little louder due to it.

I'm a dreadnought player. My other guitars are a Martin D18 and an HD28. I've got quality acoustics. The bass is not there like the Martins as should be expected given the 000 size. But the tone is very pleasing even in comparison to my Martins. The tone is just as good with the mids being warm due to the KOA.
Action, Fit, & Finish

The finish is more of a satin. I buffed it out to a nice gloss, but it didn't come that way. The guitar is perfectly intonated. It's about the same age as my Martins and while the tops on my Martins have bowed a little making saddle adjustments necessary to lower the action, the Seeler is just as i bought it. Perfect action. I really like playing this one.
I was a little skeptical of the open tuners, but they've been as solid as enclosed tuners - no issues at all, and they look better.
Reliability/Durability

This guitar is as good as any other I've played. I've got the 2 acoustics mentioned above as well as 15 electrics, mostly high end stuff. This is a fine instrument.

Don't know. Never had to contact anyone. Kiernan is a small shop, and he makes his own guitars though. I expect he'd be first rate if I ever needed him.

Been playing for 25 yrs. Getting more into acoustics as I get older and mellow out. I wanted something nice from my trip to Hawaii - what better than a custom guitar. Not purely sentimental though, this guitar plays really great and sounds great.
I really wanted to get out there with a review of this fine luthier's work. Like I said he mostly does ukes, but call Kiernan and check availability. Price was very very reasonable for a hand made instrument.
