I ordered a cordoba 40r from musicians friend. It is a hand made guitar from spain. It has a solid top and laminated sides.

Sound : 10
The sound is great!! Does not sound thin like many other cheap classical guitars. I owned a $300 dollar classical guitar years ago and this one blows it away.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 9
The action is nice. The neck had 2 minor faded spots that you could only see holding at an angle. The guitar is beautiful!

Reliability/Durability : No Opinion
Only had it 2 weeks but seems like it will last.

Customer Support : No Opinion

I have been playing for about 21 years. I taught for several years and played professionally for several years. I have several guitars including an Alvarez Yairi cutaway, a Fender American HM strat, Carvin Dc400, & Squier Telecaster. I play every week during worship services and wanted to have something to do solos on and this classical guitar is a best buy!

This is a handmade classical guitar from Spain. 18 frets, solid cedar top, rosewood back and sides, mahogany neck, rosewood fretboard, beutiful finish. It's a classical guitar, not much to it.

Sound : 9
I play jazz and classical guitar, classical being my favorite. This guitar sounds very full and round, not a cheap sound at all. Sounds like a classical guitar should sound.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 10
Everthing was set up fine when I got the guitar, I haven't changed anything. No flaws, no problems.

Reliability/Durability : No Opinion
Only had it for a short time...I don't expect any problems though.

Customer Support : No Opinion
Never dealt with them.

Overall Rating : 10
Great guitar, would get another and hope it was as good as this one if mine were stolen. I would like to own a Ramirez or have a guitar built for me, but for the time, this is guitar is wonderful.
