I played several guitars in this price range ($200). The Cordoba was number on in terms of sound, appearance and playability. An amazingly good sounding instrument especially given the price.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 9
Guitar out of the box was set up well. Intonation seemed right on although I haven't checked it with a tuner. The compensated saddle no doubt helped in this respect. Again, given the price point, the woods all seemed pretty impressive. Good fret work with no unfinished edges or ends.

Reliability/Durability : No Opinion
I've only had this a few days. With my expected use (see below) I'll know soon about reliability.

Customer Support : No Opinion
The company has a very good reputation and hand builds high quality instruments in Spain.

Overall Rating : 10
I was looking for the Ibanez GA5 as it has a high rating from other players. I wanted a guitar that I could play outside, on the screened porch, etc. that was inexpensive but sounds good. I also wanted a classical to add to my rather large complement of other very nice acoustic and mostly electric instruments. This guitar fits the bill. I was interested in the Ibanez because I bought two Artcore guitars after comparing them against others at twice the price. I couldn't believe that Ibanez could make a guitar that looked and sounded so good for the price. I soon realized that Ibanez was combining its know-how and technology with Chinese labor. The same seems to be the case with Cordoba. The only direction these guitars can go, in terms of price, is up. Though bought as a cheapo fun guitar I feel that I will grow fond of this instrument.

This guitar is very loud. The lows are clear and the highs are nice and brite. Ok sustain with the treble strings. I was in the market for a $400-$500 Yamaha or Alvarez when I heard about this deal. After playing it 20 minutes I knew this deal was a steal. My friend was listening to me test several guitars at Guitar Center and Sam Ash.
Glad I went with this deal and saved $300.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 8
Action is nice and low. The spruce top is a nice piece of wood with no blemishes or strange nots. Very bright, almost white color.
The side and back are no doubt a laminate, but no imperfections that I can see. The inside has some noticable glue here and there. As if anyone cares what the inside looks like anyway. You should see my strats with the pickguard off......ouch!!. Machine heads are probably the one thing that I will be changing. Although, the guitar stays in tune very well.

Reliability/Durability : 6
To soon to tell. It is winter and very dry right now. Fingers are crossed. Even the best Ramirez guitars get stress cracks though. So it would not be the worse thing in the world. The guitar cost $199 and is used for playing around the house and maybe some local coffee houses. I would not buy a humidified case worth more than the instrument itself. Classical guitars are all a gamble.

My customer support will be from Guitar Center. If the bridge rips off or something within 30 days I will bring it back and update my post. I really don't see me talking to guitar center anymore. However, they did forget the extra set of Savarez strings for me. One call to GC and they are now in the mail on the way to my house.

Overall Rating : 10
I have been playing for 16 years now. I have owned several solid topped classicals over the years, but dull sounding compared to this one. The sound of this guitar for the low price blows me away.
I played Yamaha, Alvarez, Takamini, Washburn, Carlo Robelli, Aria and Lucero all in the same price range and the Cordoba won hands down.
I think you would be very satisfied with the quality/price ratio of this guitar.
