This guitar looks really nice, smooth and it is always is the guitar people want me to play when I have a few guitars out in the open. It's an eye catcher. The laquer job seems a little too thick for my taste. although it appears light, it has a compact weight to it that is heavier than some of my other larger body guitars.

Sound : 8
This guitar has punch. However, it is very bright. Bright in a good way though. If you like bright. The punch of this guitar has power that my other guitars do not. But I can't speak too much about the tone just yet. Why? I know for a fact, that my Pro-F has not "opened up just yet" Maybe a few more years it will really start to show it's true colors. Hopefully the laquer job will deteriate some over time. Basically, I cannot wait. For now, the guitar sounds great but somewhat a little unclear in the mids. I will not sell this guitar, I know the day is coming where I will play it and say, "wow, this is the open sound I have been waiting for" I can actually feel this guitar is tryng to break though and resonate more body from age. Don't get me wrong though, It still has punch.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 7
The action is done well, however, I am a lefty, and had to change the strings opposite and file the nut to fit the opposing strings. So, now it squeeks when I turn the tuners. Not a flaw from Cordoba, but my unprofessional file job. I should take it in to a pro and have them make a nut that will fit the strings correctly for a lefty.

Reliability/Durability : 9
This guitar is built to last a lifetime. The hardware is pretty good and not the cheap stuff. The nut and bridge are bone made, and the tuners are quality. I can only reference my take on quality compared to other guitars that I have.

Customer Support : 1
Never tried to have it repaired, never had to call Cordoba either.

Overall Rating : 7
I have been playing for 12 years or so. I would buy it again, it's a pretty good deal. I know there lots of guitars in this price range that can compete with this guitar. But like I said,, this guitar has not opened up just yet for me to really give a fair rating on this guitar. Tell you what, I'll post again in a few years and see if there is a noticible difference. Most likely there will be, so to next time..............See you in a few years..........Lestat

The Cordoba Pro-F Flamenco Guitar features a beautiful close-grained Spruce soundboard, natural Cypress back & sides, a wonderful Honduran cedar neck with Ebony fingerboard, lovely Gold plated tuning machines that work well and hold well and an Ebony center strip down the back of the neck. This guitar has a 52mm/650mm scale with a gorgeous high-gloss lacquer finish with factory-installed clear golpeador tap plates. An elegant, yet unpretentious acoustic instrument that plays as beautifully as it looks. This guitar was made in Spain, probably about 2004. I bought my Cordoba Pro-F used and it came with a hardshell case.

I play a some classical and semi-classical music, along with old standards, ballads and love songs at local rstaurants, weddings and formal dinners...and this guitar fits perfect;y with my style of easy-lidtening music...acoustically or mic'd, depending on the size of the room. Great volume, tone and projection that I can feel reverberate through my body. This guitar feels like it is a part of me. It makes my music sound better than I play it!

Action, Fit, & Finish : 10
I have owned several Cordoba guitars and have never been disappointed in the action, fit or finish on any of them. Cordoba guitars are well made, beautifully finished and set up right out of the box. I have discovered, however, that the choice of strings can make a big difference in playability, tone, and volume. I suggest guitarists try a series of dofferent string brands to see which provides the tone, action and volume they prefer. The strings that seem to provide the best tonal qualities I prefer are Savarez 520R nylon strings from France.

Reliability/Durability : No Opinion
Because this is a Flamenco guitar, it is lighter than its classical guitar counterpart. Any classical or flamenco guitar should, of course, be handled with care, protected against bumps and dings and kept in a case or hung on the wall when not being played but with reasonable care, any Cordoba guitar should not only last for many, many years...but should improve tonal qualities over the years when played regularly as the woods settle and mature. This is a guitar that should be very durable for any guitarist who respects his instrument.

Customer Support : No Opinion
I have never needed Cordoba Customer Support during all the years I have played Cordobas. I rely on a qualified local luthier for setting up my guitars to my playing preferences (string height, minor neck adjustments, saddle adjustment/replacement, etc..

Overall Rating : 10
With a MSRP of about $2,000 and a street price of about $1,000, this Cordoba Pro-F Flamenco guitar is an outstanding value. I have found none in this price range that can compare in its beauty, its handling and its tone.

I believe this Pro-F Flamenco guitar has been discontinued by Cordoba...but it's a wonderful guitar! It features a solid German spruce top that resonates with a bold brightness and beautiful overtones. Solid cypress sides and back take the edge off. Lighter than its classical counterpart, the Pro-R, this guitar has a throaty voice in all pitches. Lower action provides ease of play and signature flamenco sound while the clear vinyl golpeador (tap plate)protects the top from finger/fingernail slaps. The guitar has a comfortable Honduran cedar neck, hard Ebony fingerboard, gold-plated tuners, 52mm nut and a 650mm scale. The entire guitar has a flawless
lacquer finish.

Very powerful sound with good deep bass and sparkling trebles, impressive volume and good projection. Very sensitive and responsive to vibratos. I use French Suarez strings on this guitar.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 10
It doesn't get any better than this...unless you pay big bucks for French finish! Superb woods, construction, detailing and finish.

Reliability/Durability : 10
I have owned several Cordoba guitars and have never has a problem.

Customer Support : No Opinion
Never needed customer support.

Compare the Cordoba Pro-f Flamenco guitar with others in its price range and I think you'll agree, you cannot find a better Flamenco guitar for the price. Highly recommended.
