Made in Korea, 12-string, hybrid solid-body acoustic/electric guitar with a bolt-on neck. This guitar has an acoustic-type bridge pick-up with active EQ and requires a 9-volt battery. Individual sealed tuners. The neck is a wood color (unlike the body which is finished in gloss black). Recent vintage, probably 2003 or 2004. The listing on E-Bay says "spruce top, solid wood body" - but the guitar is neck-heavy (prob. because of the 12 individual chrome die-cast tuning machines) so the "solid wood body" must be balsa wood or pine.

The guitar sounds fine through an amp or a PA - as it is a solid body acoustic/electric, there's not a lot of volume without plugging it in.

The guitar is put together fine, my only complaint is the neck is too wide for my own personal taste. It has the widest and thickest 12-string neck I've ever played.

I used it for practicing with a few times and I used it on 1 gig and I've decided that I can't live with the neck.

I've been playing a long, long time. I own a Yamaha Pacifica 12-string electric with the thinnest 12-sting neck I've ever had the pleasure to play. I'm playing in an acoustic duo with my girlfriend, so I wanted an acoustic type 12-string guitar. I just didn't want a deep body acoustic, but I think I'm going to get a Yamaha APX5 12-string instead - it's body isn't too deep and the neck is certainly more playable than the Crafter. To be fair to Crafter, I own a mandolin made by them (with a plastic back - like a an Ovation) and I'm happy with that.
