Features : 8
Crafter D-24-12 (12-string acoustic), 20 frets, solid spruce top, rosewood back and sides, gloss finish. Large rectangular Abalone position marks. No pickups or anything. Abalone body binds and Crafter soundhole inlay. Grover gold diecast tuning machines. Thin rosewood neck. Made in Korea. Not shure what year the guitar was made--probably 1995-1998???

Sound : 8
Rich sound all across the spectrum. No harmonics from the body (at any range high or low), no droning, not tinny, no holes in the spectrum, no anomolies, no wierd characteristics. Responds well to different string guage combinations. Easy to control and get what you want out of it. You can do a lot with this guitar. Versitile for all types of music: strumming, drumming, banging, twanging, finger picking, flat picking, modern, pop, rock, country, bluegrass, whatever. (It doesn't work well with a slide; but after all, it is a 12-string.)

Action, Fit, & Finish : 8
Action is great up to the 6th to 7th frets and then gets a little difficult. It may just be my particular guitar, but the action after about the 6th fret is a bit more difficult than I think it should be. Bridges are good. No buzzing, no rattles, no noises. Everything works, everything's solid. Good clean machine.

Reliability/Durability : 10
I'm hard on guitars and this thing still looks like new. It has the hardest finish I've ever seen.

Customer Support : No Opinion
I haven't had any problems with the guitar so I don't know about customer support.

Overall Rating : 8
I've been playing for 27 years and owned electric and acoustic, Fenders, Ovation, and Yamaha. Just like an Ovation Applause that got broke, I wouldn't think twice about getting another Crafter 12-string (D-24-12). The two main things I like about it is the solid sound and tough finish. There's nothing in particular I really dislike about the guitar.
