Not as loud as you might expect for a dreadnought. Nice ringing tone with good sustain. Low E slightly muffled acoustic and amplified. Intonation very accurate especially with low tunings which is what I bought it for. It was a totally impulse buy.

Setup is great. Action is just right for low tunings. No fret buzz on even low C tuning. The back of the neck is a little undulating but its not a problem. There was damage to 2 or 3 frets which needed smoothed off.

Been playing 2 years after a 17 year gap. I also have a Taylor 514ce. The Crafter tolerates the open C tuning better. I bought it as a beater. I would only buy another one if it had the same accurate intonation in Low C. I had been looking at the Tanglewood Sundance range. The Crafter was better value. I wanted gloss rather than satin because its more durable.
