This guitar is a dreadnaught cutaway. It has mahogony back and sides and spruce top with a satin finish and rosewood fretboard. It is all solid wood.. It comes with an onboard LR Baggs tuner and EQ. Also a tortoise pickguard.. It is a sweet looking guitar but generally plain features...Nothing like the PK-Rose or PK-Bubinga series with lots of frills on them

Originally I had a Guild JF 30.. I found the guitar to play nice and sound great but unfortunately it was big and cumbersome to play.. I wanted a smaller guitar.. I played Taylors and Larrivees and was leaning towards those guitars but after purchasing my guild new at a cost of $1600 dollars I wasn't going to spend another dime on an expensive guitar.. I went to a shop and they offered me $637.50 for a trade in..I was floored... my guitar was mint with not a scratch on it and it was made in New Jersey.. So I put it on EBay and listed it for $800 and not a bid came through...So I went to Ottawa and my brother told me about Crafter guitars.. I played them and found them to play nice and sound full. I had heard about guitars that have been made in Japan and Korea that are every bit as good and sounding better than the ones made in America and sell at a third of the price.. I played the PK-ROSE and PK-BUBINGA models and thought they played and sounded great.. Then I saw the Dv-220CEO/NV model and it just blew those two guitars away..It resonated longer and sounded warm and had just a nice pleasant tone.. Whereas the other two sounded tinny in nature. It is a smaller guitar than my jumbo and it rests nicely on me when I sit and plays great
Action, Fit, & Finish

I am used to playing with relatively low action...So this guitar will need a set up job soon.. It's action is high for me but for someone else it might be the right height..I have never had a satin finish on a guitar so this is new to me.. I like it and can't wait for the guitar to break in so I can see what kind of sound I can really get out of it..The workmanship of these guitars is great...they are put together with great care and in my opinion are flawless.. I have seen other guitars mainly gibsons which are poorly put together and overpriced...Like I said this guitar is plain looking but by judging by the others crafters I have seen they are well made and well worth the investment...

I have been playing since I was 15 and I am 45 now.. I have 4 brothers that have played all their lives.. We have had everything in the family from Martins to Guilds...I was going to invest in a taylor or even a Larrivee and opted for this guitar.. For the money and for the sound it is really worth a look at.. and to play. If it were stolen or broken there is no doubt I would buy another...
