Features : 9
Solid Cedar Top
Mahogany Back/side
Turttl Pickguard
Chrome Tuner with amber mushroom buttons
Rosewood finger board, neck mahogany
good Dovetail joint for a budget guitar is a good feature.
Body&neck binding

Sound : 10
The sound is woody and warm. Mid sounds warmth, tight and pucnchy. if you like guitar that sound good for blue and country with a lot of bright and warm sound this is good. It packs some base just enough if you need some.
Clarity and focus is very good for the price, overall sound is pretty. It sounds like a lady compare to my more expensive Yamaha CPX700 which sound clear and deep but less warmth.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 9
Finish in satin
build is very good for guitar this price and it is made in Korea not China.
very clean inside and out compare to my Yamaha CPX700 which cost $600
the body is excelent build strong, neat, and clean..no glue to be seen.
The neck and fret job is just OK. not that impressive
so I will give
10 for body
8 for neck and fretting

Reliability/Durability : 10
Strong high quality guitar for the budget price.
Wood work is good. Body and neck feel solid enough.
The tuner is just average and may need to replace sooner than anything on the guitar. and I will be happy to replace the new one with high quality gold tuner and it will be perfect.

Customer Support : No Opinion
Dont know , no problem on my guitar yet.

Overall Rating : 10
I have 3 acoustic guitar Yamaha CPX700 $600, Crafter TA050$300, and this GA7/N.
I used to have Taylor Big Baby, Martin DX1, I sold Both of them.they were not right for me.
I really like the sound of this GA7/N Cedar top/Mahogany it is just good for my taste. warmth sweet mids and enough base
The high is clear enough.
Eventhough the CPX700 is a more expensive guitar and sound more refine. I still like this one better and play it more often.
I plan to sell the CPX700 and get a Takamine EG340SC.
And Crafter GA7/N is a keeper.

Grand Auditorium Body
Satin finish, 25 1/2 inch scale , 1 11/16 nut

I have recieved many compliments on the sound of this guitar.
Very warm sound yet there is a nice clarity for each note, very rich sound. Comes with Daddario EXP 11 strings which I actually liked on this guitar, so I have stuck with the sound this gives me!

Action, Fit, & Finish : No Opinion
This guitar came with a nice setup for action/playability, I do not know if that was factory or from the dealer, I took the guitar off the rack and it felt good played right in my hands!

The guitar is well built, nice Craftmanship. If you look close internally it is clean, nice finished edges, there is a very small amount of internal excess glue, But you have to look for it.

Outer appearance, very nice well put together, good looking guitar, simple elegance would be a good description.

Reliability/Durability : 8
The guitar holds tune well takes all I throw at it
Would count on this guitar for anything

Customer Support : No Opinion
If memory serves it was 12 month warranty on this model
Some upper level Crafters have limited lifetime warranty but not this model. I have not had any need for warranty.

I did contact Crafter with questions about another model guitar I was looking at and they were quick to respond to me and very polite.

Overall Rating : 9
I have really been playing for just over a year, But have dabbled in guitars for more years than I wish to count.

I have had guitars by Larrivee, Gretsch, Fender and more, This guitar will hold it's own against anything out there.

It is not the best at everything and I will not say it is superior to high end high dollar guitars, but it does a great job is a very nice instrument and can do the job for anyone.

For the purchase price it is rally hard to find anything to complain about, the feel the sound, the way it is built, I really think anyone that would give it a chance could be happy with a guitar like this (if they wanted Cedartop 1 11/16 nut)

It is a shame there are not more US local Crafter dealers for people to check this line out, they are every where in the UK from what I understand. They are available on line as well.

I think this guitar has a permanent home, I think I would replace it with a like model if it were lost or stolen. If you are looking for a Cedar top, check this guitar out. If you do not wish for Cedar check out the other models offered by Crafter, They make a full line of guitars, many are very nice!
