The store I bought this guitar from backs it 100%
1 Year warranty.
The Manufacturers Rep was very imformative, not very often a Rep tells you to really bang on it for the first few weeks & it will really open up for you, Most reps just are not that confident in their guitars to say that..

I`ve been playing for 20 years
All my questions were answered.
I would definitely buy another.
I love the feel, the sound, & the look. for the money very hard to find better.
I compared this to other guitars in the price range & this simply was the best for the money.
It has pretty well everything I need.
The reason I did this survey is because this guitar is such a great deal for the money & wanted to let other players know about it..

I best kind of music I can describe I play is similar to Jason Mraz and Dave Matthews Band so I guess folky-pop-bluesy stuff.
Unplugged - sounds beautiful. I play it hard most of the time and the sound is solid and projects well. Highs are crisp and lows are full and deep. This guitar is generally a brighter sounding guitar compared to dreads.
Plugged in - I plug this baby in my Ibanez TA35 and it sounds like a mutha! The electronics on this baby is supposedly one of the best pickups around. The pickup alone is $200-$250.

The guitar setup at the factory was good. The action was perfect but I had the nut on the guitar replace from plastic to bone. I will do the same for the saddle later. The bridge is not your conventional type with pegs. You run the strings through the bridge over the saddle.
There were no flaws on the guitar. I brought my guitar to a respectable Luthier in town to replace the nut. He thought I paid $1400 for it. He was so surprised it was half the price. His exact words were, "This guitar is built very clean. Beautiful finishing."
Beautiful abalone dot position marks and mother of pearl inlay around the soundhole.
The only complain I have about this guitar is the nut width. I am used to 1 3/4" neck width and this guitar comes with a 1 11/16" width. A little narrower than what I'm used to. So if you have small hands and fingers, or used to playing electric, this neck size would suit you. Over a months time I have gotten used to it and have no trouble playing it.

This guitar is built to last. Solid and thump'able'. I wack this thing with the bottom side of my fist to make percussion sounds and this guitar takes a lot of abuse from me. I can depend on this guitar to put on a good show.

Excellent. Crafter is in the middle of changing distributors and their current distributor was exceptionally helpful when I needed information. They recommended a Luthier to bring my guitar in for any servicing. The warranty on the guitar is limited lifetime.
I emailed customer service one time and they responded within a few days.

I also own a Art & Luthier Cedar Dreadnaught. This was my first guitar. It is now sitting in its case in the closet. I've neglected it ever since I purchased my Crafter. I would definitely purchase another Crafter it was lost/stolen. I would probably buy one with a wider neck though. I chose this guitar for its sound and quality in craftmanship. Also, the detailed finishing is very appealing. I get compliments all the time about it. Hands down on craftmanship! For a similar guitar slapped on a brand name such as Taylor or Gibson would easliy cost you twice as much. This Crafter is an excellent quality guitar for the price.

Made in Korea. Bought in 2002 new for #275 - got tweed case half price with that and a few free sets of stings, strap etc...
Cutaway Electro-Acoustic guitar, 21 Frets.
Top is solid Engelmann spruce - the guy in the shop said they age the spruce for 5 years before they put it on and it continues to sweeten.
Mahogony back, sides and neck. Fretboard is rosewood I'd guess.
Nice hardware... it seems like a really well put together guitar. Little quality touches that are just better than some other guitars - like the nice machineheads, soundhole surround, dots on the fretboard, line up the back of the guitar and the finish. Not like some others I looked at in the same price bracket - the tanglewoods spring to mind as feeling cheaper and lighter. The wood wasn't nearly as nice as the Crafter.
Active eq, battery test and volume controls. Shadow pickup and a nice preamp.
Only giving it 9 because the new Ovations and some more guitars have built in tuners, which are very handy. And some have Exciters now too. But for the price I think the features are excellent.

I play varying styles of music. On this guitar I play mainly slow ballads and some acoustic rock.
I love the sound of this guitar... in the shop it really stood out from the rest in the same price bracket and I even preferred it to some slightly more expensive ones - Martins and Tanglewoods mainly.
I've recorded with it and it sounded great without any processing acoustically - plugged in the sound isn't as good. Its still great for live work, with some light processing it sounds very good plugged in.
For the price you aren't going to get a better pickup and preamp.

I've played lots of acoustics and I'd have to spend about #600 to find one I'm more comfortable with. The action was nice, straight out of the shop and with the cutaway its no problem playing crazy chords up at the 21st fret!
The guy stuck a button just behind where the neck meets the body for the strap which is where I prefer it. The button isn't there out of the factory so you can have it whatever way you want which is a nice touch.

The guitar is built well, sturdy enough to gig. It doesn't ding easlily. Everything is solid about this guitar.
I wouldn't even think of a backup guitar for a gig with this. Just make sure your battery's ok. Mine lasted about a year!

I've been playing seriously for about four years. I put this straight into the desk through an exciter and chorus (using only slight amounts of effects!).
I wouldn't sell this guitar - if it were lost or stolen I would be gutted. I'd have another in a heartbeat.
Rock solid, sounds great - couldn't ask for better for anything near the price.
