Spruce Top with Mahogany back and sides. Mine has a sunburst finish. not sure if they come in other finishes.

This is a Jumbo model guitar so it has a big sound. Not big as in overbearing but more like... proud or something, like it makes sure people know its being played.
because of the big bottom it has, there is plenty of bass frequencies. The great thing about it is that while it has a lot of bottom end the other frequencies dont suffer as a result. The bass tone seems to comlpiment the higher freqs.
I use martin strings. they give a nice bright sound on the highs, the guitar does the rest.

straight out of the box it was set up perfect. dont know what strings were on it but i wore them rusty. I experemented with different gauges and brands til I got a nice broody sort of sound.
Im giving it a ten here because I really couldnt complain about how it was set up or the feel or anything. It has a great feel. suits me anyway.

Ive played this everywhere from home to parties to gigs. I look after my stuff so there isnt a scratch on it. It seems pretty tough. im sure if you sat on the neck it would crack, but show me a guitar that wouldnt.
Its a solid guitar and i expect it to last well forever.

Ive been playing for about 15 years. I own a lot of guitars and this is my favourite acoustic. I dont own any high priced martins to compare it too but I can say this baby suits me just right.
If it were stolen I would check out whats around for the money I had. I might by this again if nothing newer and or better jumped out at me. who knows.
I think this guitar deserves a high rating because its a good fit for me. Its got a big sound that demands attention. I like that.
