The sound of this guitar is what sold me on it. i played every acoustic in sub-??400 category in the music shops of central london and this is the one that really sang. the bass is well balanced to the treble strings and the spruce top gives it a bright richness that sounds great when finger picking.

Factory set up was a little high, but two shims out from under the saddle and a little tweak of the truss rod and now it plays wonderfully.

It seems like a very well made guitar and I think it will withstand live gigging. I dont play to a live standard, so it may some years before this guitar sees a stage. if anything will go on this guitar it'll be the string pegs, but i think most guitars would need them replaced over time anyway.

I've had this guitar for 18 months now and i'm as happy when i pick it up to play now as i was when i bought it.
If this guitar were stolen, i'd have to search to find another that i like as much as this. as it is my first acoustic i'd look around again to see if there were anything better for me, but i'd certainly give crafter a good chunk of my time.
i have only been playing for 3 years, although many friends who've played for up 35 years have been heartily impressed with this instrument .
if you want a guitar that sounds great, plays well and will last you years, then consider this crafter
