dreadnought, solid spruce top brown, mahogany back side and neck, rosewood fretboard, good tuners with logo daion. made in japan - yamaki (1980 ?). brass nut and saddle. I have changed the saddle with one bone but the brass played also well.
This guitar is amazing. No electronics this guitar is a real acoustic instrument.

Usually j play classic and electric, this instrument is an acoustic guitar and is good for this music. bright sound with Martin strings 0.10-0.47.
I like it much.

Perfect action, but the fretboard isn't good for me because I play others guitars with fretboards more large.

this thing is awesome for fingerpicking or strumming, playing hard or gently. the highs and mids are heavenly while the bass is crisp and tight, booming but not overpowering sloppy. when i first played it i found it warm but a little tinny and thin. i replaced the brass saddle with a bone one and strung a pair of martin cutom lights and WOW!

the lady i bought it from at a yard sale said her husband bought it for her in 1980 she tried to learn then gave up and put it back in the case and closet for 25 years. i walked through her yard sale and asked if she had a guitar for sale and she went in and dug it out. i opened the original hardcase(in good shape) and the guitar did not have one scratch, not one bit of wear and the neck and action were great! luckily we live in a wet area. i found the original combination of the brass saddle and brass nut made it a little tinny, changed to bone saddle and...magic!

i don't think i'll ever sell this little beauty. if i did lose it for any reason i would certainly try to find another. easily comparable to martin, taylor or gibson, quality and soundwise.
