Nice black shiney finsh cutaway master seriers. Tuners brand unknown bot neck is in good shap and frets are ok. nice case that protects the guitar. strings are ok but grade is unknown but think a 10 or 11 would be better. Nice on bord 3 part EQ that works nicely. it is wood not partical board as some say... like I said not bad and playable.

i like all kinds of styles of music and you can play on it. sound is decent for price. i mean its not a seagull or a martin but better than what music stores offer for price.. i like the damn thing.

like I said it is a decent guitar and no flwas but the smell is alittle to much that about it. the action kind of high but some like it that way and even tho high it still plays and holds a tune. I would give a 9 but give 7 cuz of the smells.

seems very durable for a 180.00 guitar. nothing loose or coming loose and seems solid and neck straight. thank god i didnt get a bad china man I must of had one made by the chinaman supervisor, hahaha. I play it alot and i dont mind playing it and when i put it down i find myself playing it again.

I was told this thing is all laminated wood, and that the fingerboard and bridge were painted mystery wood. The thing was acoustic-electric, and it came with an amp. Also, a flimsy gig bag came with it, and videos of this "Esteban" guy. Looked like a good package for a starter like me, but it was all cheap crap. My cousin said that he wished it came with Esteban's hat and shades. I'm really taking off points here for the missing features.
Sound

The sound is brittle and grating, and a string change didn't fix that. Unsuitable for any style of music.

I'm not a real musician yet but I know the neck is supposed to be straight, not twisted like this guitar's neck.

Body seems flimsy and top cracked when I accidentally hit it with the vacuum cleaner while cleaning the house. I couldn't tune it like the video said I could.

I can't call this a typical cheap Chineese guitar. Typical cheap Chineese guitars do have some workmanship and quality. The Esteban is a discrace.

Put water in your ears, a sock over your head, fill a cigar box with sand and throw it against a wall. That will give you an idea of the sound quality. Sound? It does make noise, but I'm not sure I would call it "sound".

Estaban wears those dark glasses so he can't see how poorly these things are put together. Action was very high, and uneven. The strings were not all at the same height (I have never seen this before even on a $20 toy guitar) The thing has more glue on the inside and a horse!

I believe within a year your Esteban will be in the trash. They are so poorly constructed it's almost certain something will fail. You won't be able to find anyone foolish enough to buy it second hand. Any honest luthier will tell you your wasting money having it repaired. Perhaps you could cut off the neck and turn it into a terrarium.

Customer Support? Don't hold your breath.
Can you imagine trying to obtain warranty repairs for a guitar purchased from a late night infomercial? I believe you will need warranty repairs because these things are poorly constructed. You will probably have to mail it off to the boonies somewhere for a ton of postage. Then you will probably have to wait a month or two. And then the postage (and handling) back to you will be a fortune. It might end up being cheaper to go to Guitar Center and get a $99 beginners plywood acoustic. (it will be a better guitar)

Iv'e been playing for a few years. I am a woodworker, cabinet maker and I also build radio controlled sailplanes from scratch. (up to 10 ft. wingspan) I know wood!
A friend showed me his Estaban and I was appalled. He asked if I could work on it. I told him I would rather clean toilets. In my opinion, he is the owner of some very expensive kindling.

Time to crush this review of the Esteban guitar.
Poor finish. There were a couple of major imperfections (like the soundhole being ~7 millimeters off) that detracted from the appearance. Cut-up guitar in tan color. Lame features and not worth the money!

The sound is very bad. Empty sound. Doesn't stay tuned.

Pretty ugly thing. Glue was oozing out of the joints. Finish had a fly in it. A whole lot of other problems with quality. Details are crap.

Home use without the amp. Pretty hard to play and the sound is crummy!
