Fender Buddy Miller Signature

Dreadnought, slope shouldered, laquer finished solid spruce top, solid mahogany back and sides, mahogany neck. Rosewood fingerboard. Fender gold plated vintage strat style tuners, modified 60s style strat neck with a compound radius. Equipped with the Fishman Aura Ellipse preamp with four sound images chosen by the Artist Buddy Miller. Very cool nostalgic looking checkerboard binding and Viking ship bridge.

I play americana and folk with some classic rock thrown in. Resembles the sound of a J-45. The Aura preamp is flat out the best system for performing live that I have encountered. My favorite image is number one which is a j45 sound, image three is very bright and jangly, almost like a Rickenbacker.

Great action right out of the case. fit and finish is excellent, smooth fret ends. Stays and plays in tune up and down the neck. A look inside looks like everything is clean. My only observation is that the braces seem a bit heavy.

This guitar was designed by a road musician for working musicians. THis guitar will stand the test of time. I gig it three nights a week and haven't had to reach for the backup yet. Highly dependable!

I have been playing for 25 years. I would replace this guitar if it were lost or stolen because it has the sound and the vibe. I love the cool vibe of the fender headstock on a great acoustic, the cool checkerboard inlay and funky viking ship bridge. I play a Martin 000 and a J-45 as well. For now this one is my favorite.
