Sound : 9
This was my first guitar. It's body is very deep which allows it to echo loud sounds. Pretty basic guitar sound. This guitar is great for church praise and worship, practicing at home, ect...

Action, Fit, & Finish : 7
This guitar is set up nicely. The set neck gives it a great solid sound. The guitar never scratches, and if you have dings, they never show up. It is very very bulky.

Reliability/Durability : 8
Very durable. I have had it for 2 years and it rarely gets out of tune or ever gives a hint of falling apart.

Customer Support : No Opinion
Never delt with 'em...

Overall Rating : 9
I've been playing it for 2 years and It is a great guitar for the price, especially since you can buy one now from Musician's Friend magazine for $199.00. If it were stolen or lost I would pursue a newer, more expensive guitar since I had this guitar for a while. I love that is never goes out of tune, but I hate how bulky it is. If you wanta durable, dependable, affordable, great sounding guitar you need to buy this one.

Just what you'ld expect from Fender... awesome!! My first guitar and a good starter. It was a gig pack. It had gig bag, strap, string winder, a complete extra set of strings, polish, cloth, picks, and electric tuner. Hmmm.... 20 frets, nato front, rosewood fretboard, mahogany back and sides, nice finish. You can get more info at 'www.fender.com' if you want.

Sound : 10
Total heaven!! No buzzing strings, no flaws, no joke!! I'm still learning but it's easy on this. Great sound. I can play a lot of crap on this guitar. BUY IT!!!

Action, Fit, & Finish : 10
Nothing wrong with this baby!! Set up great. I've tried out other acoustics and this sounds so much better. I've never played a Martin, but they're probably good too.

Reliability/Durability : 10
I think this is very durable. I once dropped it (oops) and there wasn't a single scratch. The pin, however, fell out when I was screwing with it. Of course, that would be my accident. The finish is improved each time I polish it.

Customer Support : No Opinion
It has a warranty, but I don't think I'll need it.

Overall Rating : 10
I haven't played long, but I know a keeper when I see one. If it was stolen I'd buy it again. I hope to get a Strat someday. I've compared and this is the best I've seen... and the price!!

It came with a gig bag, picks, extra strings, and some other good stuff. 20 frets. All nato top, neck, and sides. Plus rosewood fretboard. Nice 60L phospher bronze strings. Pretty good deal. And the fact that it was only $220.

Sound : 8
This guitar sounds great!! There were no bad strings. I can play most of my favorite songs on it. It's a great guitar to play for a beginner. I don't have tons of money and this is the best I can get. It's worth more than $220!! I don't exactly like the sound made by the middle string. (kinda flat)

Action, Fit, & Finish : 8
There were barely any flaws, just a couple minor mess-ups. Nothing that I couldn't fix. Good action. I like the finish. Let's you see the color good. Doesn't scratch easily.

Reliability/Durability : 7
It'll stay with me a long time. I really think it would last about a hundred years. Of course most Fenders are made to last. I don't exactly know if I'd want to play it by myself a lot, though.

Customer Support : No Opinion
Never needed to deal with anyone.

Overall Rating : 10
It's a great guitar for a beginner with a low cost. The sound is great. And everything's fine so far. If you ask me I'd say buy it!!

Pretty much basic acoustic guitar features, but came in a kit with a gig bag, strap, polish, extra set of strings, polish, picks, peg winder, and a Fender Chord Finder book (very useful, over 1100 chords). Great price for the whole set.

Sound : 9
Although this doesn't measure up to the better Fenders, for the price range this guitar is wonderful. I just recently put some new D'Addario strings on mine and the guitar sings better than ever. It's not quite made for a whole lot of easy soloing, it's more well-suited to rythym. Chords sound very rich and bright (for the price range), and I would definitely recommend this guitar for beginners who can't afford much but want something that isn't junk.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 7
The guitar looks great, not easily scratched/dented, but I handle all my guitars with great care. For some reason, the DG-8 I bought has a little fret wear around the 13 frets, but doesn't affect the sound too much. As I said before, soloing on this guitar isn't very easy, although it can be done. If you do a lot of acoustic outside of rythym guitar, I couldn't recommend this one. But the chords are very rich and crisp for it's price range.

Reliability/Durability : 7
The fact the one of the frets had some wear when I bought it (when it was supposedly "new") really makes me wonder about the durability of the other frets, but I haven't noticed any other wear since I've been playing it. It's basically what you might expect for $260 (w/ the kit as well). It's great for it's price, but it doesn't compare to the playability of the higher priced acoustics.

Customer Support : No Opinion
Haven't needed to deal with the company yet.

Overall Rating : 8
Overall, this guitar was very well worth it's price, and it works great as my main acoustic guitar. Very thick and powerful sound and works better for rythym than many guitars I've played that cost twice as much. I'm happy with the purchase, but had I a bigger budget, I would have most definitely opted for a better guitar, one with a better neck and action suited for rythym AND soloing. But for a beginner learning chords and such, this would be a great guitar.
