Laminated spruce top, mohogany neck, sides and back. The finish is Satin and the neck is rosewood. The body style is is dreadnought and the tuners are the higher quality sealed ones. The neck is a 20 fretter. I don't know what year it was made but the website says from '95 to '97

Sound : 5
In terms of sound, it's just fine. There is n othing about this guitar that will make anyone go out and buy one but it is just fine for the money. I got it used from ebay and had to fix several things when I got it. I would say the sound may be just a bit brighter than I really care for. I have been "banging it in" for the last 9 months since I got it.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 5
The action was suprisingly low and really playable for the condition it was in when I got it and after I fixed it. The wood had actually shrunk up on the neck to where the frets would scratch your hands up pretty well if you played it. Also, the bridge had pulled off and the top could not be reglued because the wood was too soft to hold the bridge. I glued it once back to the top only to have it pull off again because the top was just too weak where the bridge was supposed to be glued. I had to place a 1/4 inch piece of Hickory under the original reinforcement to add substance to the bridge area. I also drilled and screwed the bridge to and through the hickory. After this modification and sanding the frets down, it was a fine piece to play.

Reliability/Durability : 7
Hey,it holds up really well on live playing. It is a good "Meat and Potatos" guitar. I have a fishman pickup attached to the soundhole and it plays fine. I've performed with it just for the heck of it. I usually play an old Epi 12 string that sounds "Too Die For" but his does just fine for some of the harsh weather gigs.

Customer Support : 6
Their website is pretty good to answer lots of questions.

Overall Rating : 5
I've been playing for 40 years and I own several guitarts of all flavors. Mostly electrics but several acoustics and several amps both acoustic and electric. I own two acoustic guitar amps and I employ them all.

This guitar is just an average dependable guitar and the only trouble may be the wood may shrink if you live in a dry climate like we have in Idaho.
