Laminated spruce top and laminated mahogany back and sides. Very nice satan finish. Rosewood fretboard and bridge. Compensated saddle. Mini-jumbo size. Fishman 4 electronics with onboard tuner.

I was instantly struck by the sound of this guitar when the salesman picked it up and strummed a couple of chords. The volume and brightness for this body style is exceptional. As I played it, I was impressed even further by it's brightness and volume. It's not a tinny sound at all. And the low end is not overpowering. Plugged in it gets even better. The EQ is so responsive you can go from the most crackling highs to the boomiest of basses, and everything in between. This guitar holds it's tune very well too. I play every day and so far I've had to make small adjustments about every 3-4 days. The onboard tuner makes that a snap.

The mfg description listed on sellers' websites says it's a very comfortable guitar to play. I've never heard a more truer mfg claim. Given the mini-jumbo size, it just fits into your arms. Out of the box, on mine, the action at the nut is perfect however, it's a little high at the neck heel end but nothing a little saddle adjustment couldn't take care of. Something I should have had done when I bought it. Everything about this guitar looks top-notch. You don't see any glue drops on the inside. No frets sticking out of the side of the neck (in fact, completely smooth as you run your hand up and down the neck). The neck is nice and straight and the tuning hardware is solid.

I can't comment much here. I've only owned 3 guitars in my playing like (>30 yrs), this one being my third. My second, a Hohner 12-string, I've had since graduating high school back in '77. It has a lifting bridge (my fault for never loosening the strings during periods of inactivity) so one of my concerns when considering this guitar was how well, and long, will it hold up. I'm not a luthier nor an afficienado, so only time will tell. I can say that after doing a lot of research, I was not able to discern a consensus that today's laminate technology is noticebly inferior to a solid top.

As I said before, I've played for more than 30 yrs but I am no expert on guitars, however, I am thoroughly impressed with this one. The sound just blew me away the first time I heard it and it's even better plugged in. I love the feel and fit of this guitar. It is a dream to play. When I was doing my shopping, I played an Ovation Celebrity, a Yamaha FG730 and an Alvarez (can't remember the model#). The Ovation and Yamaha were in the same price range and the Alvarez was $200 more. The Ovation was not a good comparison because they just don't sound good enough unplugged. The Yamaha has a very similar sound but is a dreadnaught. The Alvarez, as a jumbo, had a more bassy sound. The Yamaha and Alvarez were not A/E's. I went back 3 times to play this guitar and the Alvarez. With all things being fairly equal, I chose this guitar for it's electronics. The onboard tuner is probably my favorite feature as my ears are getting old. The only regret is not letting the store do a setup on it to adjust the action on the saddle. It's not expensive to have done, but it would have been free at the time of purchase. For the price and the feature set, you can't go wrong. The sound and feel will be your call, but the value will be hard to pass up.

Made in Korea string with a nice comfortable feel. Apparently well made. Probably made by Cort or Samick. Neat and tidy inside with no signs of glue excess around the kerk lining. The guitar has a very good action. Although it has just the single truss rod as mostr strings do except for Guild, the neck is straight and has no problem tuning to pitch 440. No sign of top belly and the bridge, though not bolted seems to be put together well. You have to watch some of these 12 strings because of excessive string tension. Classic 4 Fishmand electronics on board, sounds great so far. Rosewood fretboard , laminatre top and satin finish. All the earmarks of a Cort/Westmeimer production facility. So far no problems with construction or material in construction. Except the screw in the neck heel for the strap. I will remove this unnessecary stres on the guitar immediately. The neck heel is NO PLACE for a strap button screw. I have seen many neck heels crack from this JEESHH!

I had nbeen looking for a 12 string for a while and ythis came into my shop on a trade, basically paid under 160 for it with no cash handed out. Original receipt shows that it sold at Guitar Center in Comnecticut for 325.00 .. Not noisy at all plugged in, sounds like bells, and I am impressed with the tomal variations you can get from the Fishamna pickup.I like the body size, not bulky and easy to play. Sounds great through my PA, And I look forward to paying live with it.

Excellent on all accounts.. plays easy at all fets with no buzz or dead spots.. easy access with the cut away to upper registers..frest are nicely done and I feel no sharp edges anywhere on the neck except past the th fret on the terbel side, but a little 400 grit will take care of this minor detail. Nice guitar and I think I found my 12 string..

I think because of the laminate design of the guitar, it should hold up well livfe.. the neck block inside does not impress me in its size, and I doubt that the neck is dovetailed to the body, so extra care will be taken to make sure the guitar does not see any acbuseive situations. I will play this without a backup 12 string live, but I always have a backup 6 string in case the 12 does something crazy like decide not to work.. I think gigging without a backup is nuts..

No good things can be said for Fender and its "customer service".. so I would say they derserve a 5 on this.. My two experiences even as the owner of a music store were met with pompous arrogance by two separate customer service people.. They were NOT nice.

I have nbeen playing for 33 years I own a bunch of guitars from LP's to Guilds and some nice impotrt stuff. This is one of the nicest imports I have seen with a tone and design all its own, yet nothing so strange that itI love the size and the tone of this guitar. It really sounds great pluhgged in and sounds real good just picking in front of the fireplace! I think all who get one of these will be satisfied. Fende has a billion products , and somehow has kept most of their quality at a high level.. so alot of praise shoud go to them.. on the other hand, the customer service sucks and I would like to see a BIG improvement in that.. they better start to listen, because there are some GREAT guitars by no namers made in China right now that are certainly going to give thwe big boys a run for their money.. I would not awant ti be selling guitars for a living right now withh all the competeion

made in korea, but most all accoustics are. (no complaints) you can read other submissions for the basics of construction. the e.q. is cool, with a really useable band. this is wihout a doubt the best balanced 12 string i've ever played. i had a takamine EG series a few years ago, i liked the sound, but hated the boxy feel of the body and the weight of the headstock. i sold that dude and made money actually. the tuners on this thing are no-namers, but look exactly like the "ping" tuners on my ovation 6 string cut-away accoustic. VERY high quality in my opinion.

i love this satin type finish. doesnt show dirt or fingerprints that well. action is good, better than most.
the body is smallish in comparison, but feels great, like a part of you. very very comfortable to play. been wanting one for 3 years, finally searched one out. i got this one, PLUS a SKB lined hard case for $300, including shipping on ebay. yeppurs, i stole this sucker!!!!! one teeny-tiny belt mark on the back you can hardly see. perfect.......

this is a 12-string mini-jumbo, Fender Piezo Pickup system, satin-finish spruce top, mahogany back and sides, nato neck. Brige: Rosewood with Compensating Saddle. I believe it was built in 2002. Equipped with Fishman electronics.... has 4 controls for Bass, Mid, Treble, and Brilliance. Volume control.

i had taken my other guitarist with me to go acoustic shopping... i was originally looking for a 6 string, but he somehow talked me into trying out this guitar. I'm glad i did. it very much suits my style, I'm often playing Smashing Pumpkins songs on acoustic, the 12 strings gives it a much fuller sound than playing with the 6. I usually don't plug it in unless i'm playing with my band, but when it is I'm putting it through a Fender Deluxe 112s, not the greatest amp, but its pretty loud. I've also fed it through my Peavey TNT bass amp and that sounded really awesome. I think you'll really need an amp built specifically for acoustic guitar... not just this guitar, but any acoustic in general

well, i've only had it for about 3 months now, i play it every day for at least an hour. Seems to hold its tune very well, as i recall only having to tune it once or twice. everything seems solid on this thing so far. i keep it well humidified (I live in Calgary, its REALLY dry here) it should hold out for a long time.

I haven't had to deal with customer support at all, but the store i bought it from said theres a 1 year warranty on it. I'm assuming that this is a warranty from Fender. I've had friends who have dealt with Fender concerning issues and i've heard good things... i'll trust them

I fell in love with this guitars bright, clear sound. Too many of the 12 Strings I test drove were either boomy on the low end or tinny. This, as Goldilocks would say, is just right.

Fit and finish is exceptional for a Korean made guitar. The finish is attractive and the internal bracing is well sanded, smooth and the glue joints are well done with no slop. Low action is appreciated and the neck is well suited to my small hands.

I began playing 2 years ago and have always wanted a 12 String. I test drove numerous guitars from Martin, Taylor, Seagull, and Takamine and found the Fender to be the easiest to play and bgrightest sounding. The price was a SURPRISE..I would definitely buy this guitar again and strongly recommend it for it's price, sound, quality and it is just plain fun to play..

Very good plugged sound. The Fishman pickup does well its work. Flexible controls let you achieve a variety of sounds. Poor and bass leacking the unplugged sound due to the slim body. Perfect balancing between strings signals. No feedback at reasonable volume (doesn't miss a notch filter). I formerly tested both Takamine and Yamaha and for this price it's the best choice. It couldn't sound better.

Optimal factory settings. Low action. Light strings tension. Good tuning all along the keyboard. Very comfortable for both flatpicking and fingerpicking (but remember that it's a 12 strings). Accessible even the higher keys.
