Beautiful giutar with robot tunes! Great Cherry nitrocellulos finish with ebony fretboard and with white binding around the neck and head stock. Mahogany body and 22 fret neck with two humbuckers, two volume controls, one master tone knob and one master control knob for the robot tuners. Comes with plush gibson hardshell case. Simply the best playing SG I have ever seen. The neck is like butter, and the tone is great. The robot tuner are what sets this guitar apart for other gibson products.

Sounds like a great SG. The robot tuners really make a difference in the tone of this instrument. You will notice just how out of tune a guitar that has been tuned with a standard guitar tuner sounds once you get used to the robot. It is MAJOR. If you are looking for a vintage vibe this ain't it, but if you can open your mind to gibson being able to create a new SG standard you will get it. Honestly, if a new manufacturer had made this guitar I think everyone and their brother would already have one. It is a better guitar than a real 66 SG, but different.

Right out of the box it plays like a dream. There, of course, is a learning curve with the robot tuners. You get the hang of it pretty quickly and be glad you did. They do alot, and I have just scratched the surface, but am very excited about them.

For what I paid for this guitar I feel as if I have won the lottery. I'm a pro player and have been for the past 30+years. I have owned dozens of guitars by all of the major names and lots of high end boutique stuff. I need instruments that are versitile because I have played for artists as diverseas Gloria Estefan, Maynard Ferguson, Lee Ann Womac, Jaco Pastorious big band, Bernadette Peter. I mean all over the map sylisticly. This guitar is worthy of covering all that stuff and more. I have played the guitar on gigs so far using Fender, Dr Z and Mesa Boogie amps. It sounds great through all those amps. This guitar and a strat would cover all of the sounds I would ever need to get out of a standard electric 6 string. Get one while they are still selling them.
