The Godin AcoustiClassic is a very rare version of the famous Godin Acousticaster. This guitar features a chambered mahogany body, mahogany neck, and solid cedar top. The electronics are custom made by L.R. Baggs. Notice that the scale is quite a bit longer than that of a traditional classical guitar. The neck is extremely smooth and precise, and is slightly narrower than a traditional classical with the back of the neck being somewhat flatter than a classical. Playability is this guitars middle name. The action is extremely light and the neck is comfortable enough for hours of playing. The AcoustiClassic was extremely limited production as the Godin Multiac soon replaced it. I am fortunate enough to own one of the original sample guitars that Godin produced. This is quite possibly the same one that was displayed at the NAMM show a few years ago. I bought it directly from a Godin Rep. There is no serial number on this guitar - just a simple "S" stamped on the back of the headstock.

Perfect.
Reliability/Durability

This guitar should do well in a performance situation. The electronics have proven very reliable, strap buttons are solid, etc.. Finish seems durable. I'd use it without a backup

It's too bad the don't make this anymore. Fortunately, they do make the Multiac and ACS models. Check them out at www.lasido.com
