It is a perfect fingerstyle guitar, with excellent string to string separation, loud and exuberant, great overtones and infinite sustain.
Bass is good but not great, because of the smaller body. The treble is bright and clear, but the overall presentation is a warm sound

Very well-finished and set up. The woods have to be seen to be believed. Great care and a good eye for esthetics and detail must have dictated the matching of the woods!

It is sturdy, and the braces are non-scalloped, so it should last a lifetime. My only reservation about taking it out is the finish is too beautiful to mar. The humidity in my country (Singapore) is very high, so I keep it in a controlled humidity room all the time.

Have e-mailed the Goodalls with my appreciative remarks and my queries and they have been very responsive, although they take a little while because of their heavy schedule, I'm sure.

Have been playing more than 20 years, but with a classical for a long time. I own a great strummer - the Martin M64, and a Larrivee parlor with sitka/walnut woods. Sold a taylor 714 ce because of elbow pain.
The Goodall is beautiful, sounds wonderful, but is not primarily a strumming guitar. It will record well I'm sure. Maybe I'll get a GC next!
