I bought this rosewood Grand Concert guitar new. It has a beautiful Engelmann Spruce top, fine Indan Rosewood sides and back and ultra-curly Koa binding on the body fretboard and headstock. It has the high grade abalone rosette and gold Schaller tuners.

I play fingerstyle and in many open tunings. The term "cannon" is a bit over-used so lets just say this baby will respond to any input with gloriously sonorous results.
Action, Fit, & Finish

The set up on this guitar is perfect. The fit and finish are flawless and the quality of materials is amazing. Inside on the label the builder specifys light guage strings only. He believes that Engelmann Spruce is the ideal top material for use with light guage strings.
Reliability/Durability

I can't speak to the reliability as I've only had it a short time. The word is that James Goodall takes care of his customers. The way this instrument is put together I doubt that there will be any reliabilty problems.

This is the finest guitar I've ever owned. Even brand new the sound is incredible. The playability is perfect. I traded a much loved Martin OM-21 in on it and would do it again in a heart beat. I believe this instrument is a "once in a life time" purchase and am actually honored to own it.
